The Mets are like riding the Cyclone at Coney Island. Ups and downs and you pray that the car stays on the track.

They easily should have won 3/4 in San Diego and swept the Dbags. Of course, it was a split with SD and 2/3 here. Yet if I told you before the trip we would have taken it.

Beware of the horrid White Sox. We should be really nervous about this weekend. Hope I’m wrong.

How can this not be a trap series? Sox could damage our playoff chances plus avoid removing mets from the record books as worst team ever.

The reason I wouldn't call it a trap series is the Mets have to know that as we enter September, they cannot afford any more unnecessary losses.

Now, that doesn't mean the losses won't inevitably still happen , but I do not think the team will look past the White Sox

True. But I meant from a perspective where we could use 3 wins for both reasons I mentioned, but it would be a double slam if we got swept by them. It's the typical Mets Jets outcome we've come to expect over time. Gut punches.

I will say, doesn’t feel great to have Megill going tonight. He’s been awful this year
