I half agree with you. The other half of me thinks it was extremely unfair of the Mets to promote him after just 6 AAA games. The kid barely played minor league baseball to that point. Vientos has over 200 AAA games by comparison and like 112 before his brief debut.Unfortunately, he looks like a AAAA player.
Fortunately, it’s still early in his career.
Marillac put it on his Facebook today. I just copied his linkMaybe someone could link to You Tube for the Iglesias video, OMG, post-game last night. A lot of fun for the players and fans.
Just don’t understand the Mets allegiance to Megill, in his 4th year, he is the same unreliable pitcher he was as a rookie
I defer to you on the minor league performance, I haven't a clue but after watching him for four years in the majors, he has little at this level. He has electric stuff and he dominates the minors. He's pretty much the Brett Baty of the pitching.
Pitching lowers the ceiling on this team. Leading MLB in walks is a sin.Houston we have a problem
Diekman and Garrett were not even close to the plate. Diekman’s K was fortuitous because the guy swung at three balls.Pitching lowers the ceiling on this team. Leading MLB in walks is a sin.
His splits are pretty crazy. He has a career ERA below 3.00 for March and April. Then he gets hurt and his ERA almost doubles in the middle of the season. He finishes relatively decent in September.Just don’t understand the Mets allegiance to Megill, in his 4th year, he is the same unreliable pitcher he was as a rookie
This guys throwing meat balls down the plate. The human white flagWhy in the heck take Ottavino out after 6 pitches to bring in Matt Festa??? Who???? Main Man at least tell me he has electric stuff in the minors (just kidding)!
Ottavino has been generally terrible but……Matt Festa???
Hopefully not a sign of things to come, the bullpen is just so weak and they have no starters that give them length.A nice June but two stinkers to end it
