Hell of a distance to go to be embarrassed by the Phillies. I am afraid this could make for a long week end
You live in England or you’re there on vacation (or holiday, I guess I should say)?My wife surprised my with tickets for tonight as an early Father’s Day gift. We are heading to the game shortly. We popped over to the fan zone in Trafalgar Square earlier (we didn’t know it was in, we just happened by it).
Upper decks I think are £50, lower decks were £150 in the outfield. The average was probably around £100 ($125).
The main pain it it is the opposite side of London from us, so will take about an hour on the tube to get there.
Cue Michael Scottso will take about an hour on the tube to get there.
FOX telecast mentioned there were more Phillies fans than Mets fans. Your take?Gman and wife

Thanks for the info. Glad to see you are bringing your son up correctly. I did the same with my sonNo I’m not back there today but subjecting my son to watching the game.
They had local food (fish and chips, etc.) but also had a lot of US food. The problem is they ran out of food early. They clearly didn’t think Americans would eat as much. They ran out of chew steaks in 30 minutes and most other foods by the 5th inning.
Beer wise they had an IPA, cider, Amstel, Morrerti and Heineken.
Thanks for posting the British Play by Play. Splendid!British call of Mets game final out.
