Mets 2024 Season

My wife surprised my with tickets for tonight as an early Father’s Day gift. We are heading to the game shortly. We popped over to the fan zone in Trafalgar Square earlier (we didn’t know it was in, we just happened by it).

Upper decks I think are £50, lower decks were £150 in the outfield. The average was probably around £100 ($125).

The main pain it it is the opposite side of London from us, so will take about an hour on the tube to get there.

You live in England or you’re there on vacation (or holiday, I guess I should say)?

Definitely more Phillies fans. Our section was 3 or 4:1 Phils to Mets fans. We were in right field. I couldn’t believe Marte let that ball fell. He didn’t even try for it. Then he totally screwed up running the bases. The core of this team is just rotten.

No I’m not back there today but subjecting my son to watching the game.

They had local food (fish and chips, etc.) but also had a lot of US food. The problem is they ran out of food early. They clearly didn’t think Americans would eat as much. They ran out of cheese steaks in 30 minutes and most other foods by the 5th inning.

Beer wise they had an IPA, cider, Amstel, Morrerti and Heineken.

Thanks for the info. Glad to see you are bringing your son up correctly. I did the same with my son

They are making the 9th inning interesting; but can we get anything out of the bullpen?

Great play by Torrens to end the game--you rarely see a DP like that but he kept his wits about him to tag home and then a great throw to complete the DP.
