Maton continues to find new ways to show how awful a big league pitcher can be.

Elimination game where your starter is pulled early and you go to Maton!?!? In that situation you go to your best pitcher (starter) and have them keep you in the game as long as possible. Mendy inexperience showing big time here.
 
I don’t know how yall feel but me personally - a yankeees dodgers World Series is an absolute nightmare. Will not be watching a pitch

Living in NY I use to follow both teams. Not a Yankee fan at all but the games were on. Now with streaming I don’t have one that carries Yankee games. So they are the Cubs or Rangers for all I care. I won’t make it appointment TV. I genuinely don’t care. Honestly, I’m struggling to remember who won the WS last year. It’s Mets or the season is over.

Agreed, bad game to go 1-8 RISP through 6.
Of course, Maenea coming up small didn’t help either. Mets took a big gamble IMO pitching Senga and taking Peterson out of the rotation and it backfired.
Taylor just picked a bad time to misjudge a ball, froze on a very catchable fly and got a terrible jump. Leadoff walk scores again.
