Mets 2024 Season

It’s hard enough besting a good team. It’s impossible beating a good team and a bad ump/replay official.

Typical Filly fans. Booing a guy who just blasted in the forearm with. 98mph fastball. Times have changed.

I am not sure who is worse the ump or the Mets hitters. Alvarez staring back at the ump after the next three pitches after the bad call and misses a hittable pitch by six inches to strike out.

Doesn’t feel like I’m watching a baseball game with how this ump is calling strike zone. Wtf am I watching!?

This ump really sucks. Alvarez telling him that.
The ump sucks but Alvarez’s job is to hit the ball, not tell the ump he sucks, that is Mendoza’s job, maybe if Alvarez focused on that he might have had done his job.

The 2-1 pitch to Alonso was very similar to the HR pitch Thursday, the difference? He tried to pull it today and fouled it off.

Nah, let’s not try something different like making the defense actually field a ball. Lead off runner K, PO, K. I don’t get it.

Getting lost in this, Phils only have two hits
The Met strategy of Senga/Peterson has obviously worked out very well so far. Unfortunately, they have never stopped swinging at bad pitches, Iglesias just popped out on a pitch high and inside.

It's true, but when you have an ump call a totally out-of-whack game, like that called strike against Taylor, it's really hard for me to blame them.
