Don’t understand Vientos in the 2 hole. He strikes out too much for that spot.

All that being said I hope he hits one off the Liberty Bell this afternoon.

I agree, I would flip he and Nimmo, but then again I would have hit Martinez for Alonso.

Vientos showing the sure fire sign of being lost at the plate, takes a pitch down the middle and swings at two unhittable pitches out of the strike zone

Nimmo didn’t do much better. Couldn’t see the ball twice BUT swung both times. 🫤

Playoff run is a good experience for the guy early in his career, but I am really starting to wonder how helpful he is going to be for this series

Wheeler throwing 3mph higher than his average makes him unhittable. Hopefully the adrenaline falls off

Mets just swinging at unhittable pitches. No one can hit a 98 mph pitch at your eyes.

Getting pretty tired a,t the complete lack of discipline at the plate. Wheeler is way to good as it is.

The more you see Taylor the more you realize he’s a 4th OFer offensively. No idea what he swung at.

The idea is to make Wheeler work. Not give him outs. Not good right now.

And that’s why I hate replay, it was clearly a very, very close play but just as clearly he was out. Oh well, been pi$$ing in the wind since they brought that nonsense into sports.

No idea what they were looking at. Clearly out. Sigh.

Wheeler starting to look human. Very frustrating call strike by the ump on Iglesias, which clearly got in his head. Gotta keep this close and run his pitch count up

Ump hurt us there. It really was not close. Of course then Iglesias swings at ball not even close to the damn plate.

But the 2-0 one on Iglesias was not at all then he swings at a pitch a foot outside and then, double play.
