$56 for Delta seats behind home plate last night and that was with the stub hub fees. It was like watching the Mets from the Vince Coleman era. IS it possible that a great deal on great seats wasn't worth it? Maybe

that makes sense because we had 5th row behind the met dugout and my seats were free ( business ) and we end up watching another shite show in crappy weather. I can't complain too much because we stayed in that delta 360 lounge until around I think the 5th inning when the mist was gone

Nice to see d'naurd get three hits last night but his last at bat with a runner in scoring position had to be one of the worse ever. Didn't come close to hitting the ball.
Unfortunately Bruce was playing Jaso in right center not expecting him to pull the ball off Edgin. Had he played straight away it was an easy catchable flyball. Oh well!
 
Still plenty of season left for this team to make a run and get into playoff contention. Getting Matz and Lugo back soon will help the staff tremendously. Remember, the NL East is awful, and the NL in general is down compared to the AL. Besides the Nats, the other three teams in our division are bad. No reason we can't get hot for a stretch with the bats, even without Cespedes for some time.
 
one of the only times I have agreed with Terry this year with the pitching was letting Gsellman bat with the bases loaded
 
Duda on one of those hot streaks right now that only angers me more when he goes cold
 
Cabrera pulled a Reyes and couldn't catch a pop up but Daniel Murphy didn't play good enough defense for Alderson?
 
Pill reminded me a little of Rick Reed. Reed was known as a poor man's Greg Maddux. And as you all know, Maddux was known as a rich man's Rick Reed.

While trailing by 7 runs last night I was surprised that Collins used Edgin for three innings and not the little used Ramirez. Talk about wearing them bullpen out.

Agreed, plus he kept deGrom in for too long. He was laboring hard out there.

I am pretty sure the Mets were not unhappy about the incident. It gave them some added press and a diversion from the reality of the team.
