Duke of Earlington seen scouting apartments in San Diego for 1 year leases
Ill never see the Duke play again as San Diego is an awful team and will never be televised.

They won an NCAA tournament game a lot more recently than our beloved school.

Wow.  I do not remember that game (yes I felt compelled to look it up).  They held the oft discussed duo of AJ Price and Wiggins to a total of 5 points.   That's actually a pretty good UConn team they beat.  Austrie, Adrien Thabeet and Stanley Robinson.

Jim Jones' grandson was a freshman on that team.

What does it say that all the kids that have left so far have transferred down.  Waaaaaaaaay down.

San Diego, lafyette and robert morris??????  Ive never even heard of these schools.

I just hope the issues with his back clear up. Wish him luck in the future. I’m happy he made his mind up sooner than later, keeping us in the game with the players still in the portal now.

Sorry for us but very happy for Greg. He'll be playing at his dad's alma mater in his home state. And he'll be a featured player there. Can't blame Greg for making that decision.

Thanks for 3 great years at St John's, Greg. You were an exemplary student and teammate and a great representative of our school. I wish you good health and much happiness and success at Louisiana-Lafayette.

All the posts above are 'right on'!!!
We never know how Greg's return here would be especially with his injuries et. but we are all praying for a
WIN - WIN
A great year ahead for Greg and his family who can attend more games
AND a fine 2021-22 season for us!!
With our new team and additions "as is" or with an additional quality player.
Exciting times to be a fan - coaching, recruiting, playing - the excitement is back imho.

Thanks to Greg and the Williams family for such a wonderful stay in the red & white.
Blessings

Wish Greg all the best. Sometimes, especially in these times, kids just want to go home. My favorite Johnnie the last 2 years after Justin left.
Now let's get a shooter and a backup point guard who can also shoot it a little.

I may have heard the of one of those schools, but no worries, if we ever played them in a big spot we would run them off the court.

Great kid, solid player with a lot of potential that he fell short of reaching due to injuries. It is too bad he's not coming back for his senior year. I wish Greg great success at Louisiana and in life.

It says posters shouldn’t have panicked when players left

This outcome is not the slightest shock at all. It's currently better for him than it is for us, so hopefully we get a useful piece in here. If it's a Hail Mary to Alvarado, then all is well. If not, keep beating the bushes.

Good luck to Greg in all his future endeavors.
