Randle is a 4. Achiuwa & sims are the size of most 4s.Nice move by Knicks & great that Precious agreed to the deal. With Robinson, Achiuwa and Randle, Knicks are fine at the 5 so long as Mitch doesn't miss half the season.

I’d really like to pick up a big backup 5 with the mid-level exception.
Have biyombo, Tristan Thompson or yurtseven signed anywhere yet ?
Former lottery pick who's dealt with injuries but known to be a defensive specialist. Only 25. Exhibit 10 deal, meaning its a training camp invite that can convert to a two-way deal (aka, play in the G League but eligible to shuttle back and forth) or non-guaranteed minimum deal with NY.
Marginal, but love it. Depth at all levels of the franchise was an issue last year.

There’s small ball and there’s miniature ball. Maybe alongside Dante at the 3 and Hart at the 4 we can get Muggsy Bogues to play center.I know summer league isn't the NBA, but Kolek didn't look like a second round player.
Love to see him as the primary backup PG. Slide everyone down.
Duece to the backup 2, Dante to the 3, Hart to the 4 (where he has more impact anyway), and then Mitch gets Precious as the backup along with our rook and Sims.
Kolek excelling changes our entire depth chart. He looked great, high technical ability, high BB IQ.
this is the 'realistic' take... but if / when we do see him... if we surround him with the right shooters... I don't feel there will be that big of drop in play with him manning the point....Don't expect to see too much of Kolek in year 1 but who knows.
