Tibbs has a job with players that listen to him which is a rarity. Many other teams he would be out by mid season for working his players too hard. The extension is a plus to him.

People say he did Knicks a big favor- yes but it’s very good for him too.
If injured or diminished play, he’s locked in guaranteed years & $$.

If he continues stellar play, he opts out, & signs a much bigger contract
than he would have been eligible for next summer.

You don’t understand Thibs. He played 3 guys Brunson and hart play 200 minutes a game

Nice move by Knicks & great that Precious agreed to the deal. With Robinson, Achiuwa and Randle, Knicks are fine at the 5 so long as Mitch doesn't miss half the season.
