Best thing about tonight is that Lavin said he plans to bring in 6 recruits this year. That says he is confident that he will get a few of the guys to recommit and he may be involved with more guys then the so-called experts think he is.

I sure hope so. With that team, we wouldn't have been rolled tonight. Not even close. I'd love it. Doubt we get all those guys here but if Lavin can bring in 6 high quality guys, well be fantastic next year and beyond. We already low we'll have Garrett on board this season which will help our depth situation a bit.
 
Are we going to have to put up wit these DT patches for another season? One game is enough, we don't need to wear them for another whole season. I know last year it was ET, but this is getting excessive.

Because paying respects to the man who funded the practice facility shouldn't last more than a game. I'm amazed at people sometimes.

I'd just be happy with Gathers, Sampson, Pelle & Wood
 
 4-4 after the first 8. I penciled us in at 5-3 so not all that different. We need to start a streak against Detroit and carry it into BE play. getting garrett, later this month is going to be hugh. we just dont have enough bodies, we play 6 men w/stith carrying a few minutes.

This has nothing do do with the end score, but rather the teams uniform. But rathe the patches that the team will have to wear for another season. If they put a patch for Lavin I would be all for it, but the taffners are donors not affiliated with the basketball team.

A few final comments... Harkless needs to be more aggresive and call for the ball more.. His game right now has too much finesse and he got way too many shots blocked.. he needs to become a better shooter too..His talent is big as Dickie V said.

Lindsay still, in my opinion is not a true point and his game is all 1 dimensional, go to the hoop .. tonite they were ready for him and he was totally ineffective offensively.. He has no jumper at all.. A Hardy he is not.

As others have said, this group is too small as constructed currently and needs a inside presence next year. that plus a real shooter.  

Harrison ,Pointer, Greene are all good not great players. The more I see of GG , the more I see Anthony Glover, which is a compliment as I liked AG A LOT.

Kentucky is as young as we are.. Their youngsters were simply better than ours at every position.

Greene played well out there with Lindsey out. He can play the pg spot. He needs more strength and needs to use his penetration l,e Teague does. He's not as fast as Teague but is longer and bigger. Not many as fast as Teague either.

People shouldn't fret about this loss. We aren't there yet. Having graduated our entire team and losing a third of our recruiting class to ineligibility, we shouldn't be.
