Kentucky game thread

 Will St. John's ever be good like Kentucky? I am super frustrated. We are just plain bad... I honestly don't see us ever getting this good. It is a joke the prices they charge to go to a St. John's game. I really would like to go to support them but 30 dollars is too much. Guess I'll be back next year...
 
Best thing about tonight is that Lavin said he plans to bring in 6 recruits this year. That says he is confident that he will get a few of the guys to recommit and he may be involved with more guys then the so-called experts think he is.

 We're simply too young, thin on the bench and are missing some frontcourt players. Had we had Sampson, Pelle and Garrett, this would have been a game. Pelle has size and athleticism like Anthony Davis does, albeit not as far ahead bball-wise. Next year IF Lavin brings in the guys he wants to, we are competing at a different level. We're just not seasoned enough nor enough talent just yet to play with these guys. Our guards to it have been poor as well.

I care!! I hate watching these guys struggle to score, even against the #1 team in the nation.

Fingers crossed that they figure it out during conference play. Harrison with a 3, we will break 50 now I think.

What in particular is frustrating you?? We aren't bad....we are just playing the best team in the country in one of the toughest arenas in the country. A lot of teams are going to get beat like this against Kentucky.

And for you to claim that you want to go to "support" them, but the price is too much...... What exactly is your definition of support? This post has been nothing but negative towards our team/program, and is no way even remotely supportive of our team....

There are maybe 2 or 3 programs in the country that can consistently expect to bring in top 10 recruiting classes every year. Will St John's ever be one of them? Most likely not. If that's not good enough for you then maybe the Iona ticket prices are more reasonable in your eyes.

We had one until we lost 3 recruits. We need to recover this recruiting season and get back to the plan.

Come on. You want them to take it easy on us? It was a dunk, these are kids.

If we want to be a legit competitor in hoops again we better act like it.

If we don't like it, we should stop them.
 
One thing this game has reinforced in me: My absolute hatred of Kentucky, all their fans and that lowlife, John Calipari. :angry:

Are you really that sensitive? Our team would do it too if they could.......They are kids having fun...let them be.

They shouldn't have to stop playing because our team can't make the necessary plays to prevent them...
 
 Btw, this game proves Gift can play. He needs to bring it like this more often, as do the rest of them.
