Why do people assume that because AA is 6'9" that:
A) he's strong enough, skilled enough or athletic enough to cover any of the Big East big men?, and
B) He can bang with the big boys?

While he tries to be a finesse player on the offensive end (mostly at the 3 pt line), on D, he does bang inside. He isn't very effective due to slow recognition but he doesn't get pushed aroung. That's why he picks up fouls so quickly. I'm sure he could have grabbed or hit Ochefu a couple of times on those putbacks.

With most or all of the starters gone, concerned that there will be no "big brothers" here to convince Jordan to stay. Where he ends up is hard to say.

I think that all he and his handlers have to do is look at his play on the court for motivation to stay. He aint making the league at the end of this year.

I was at the game and didn't realize he played.

I was there too, kept looking at Jordans #s and kept that 0pnts.
I kept thinking maybe he should have stayed home

Horrible game. I'm sure he didn't try to have a horrible game, so let's be positive, hopes he shakes it off. He made an amazing pass to Obekpa who blew a dunk, and missed two nice drives to the hoop by not finishing. The season is only 1/2 over. Sampson had a horrible start last season also. Let's hope he gets it in gear and finishes strong.

Yea that missed dunk by Obekpa was a momentum killer!

I talked to an older nova fan last night and he told me basically what a lot on here speculate about sheed already.

There's a reason a lot of top tier teams backed off recruiting him because of some problems between the ears.

The nova fan said rysheed was absolutely insane in high school, better than anyone in the country, so the fact that the only teams there at the end were temple, UCLA, and SJU was telling.

I actually feel sorry for the guy, he has lost a lot and is turning to his old friends for support when really he needs to be focusing on getting out of the city. It is what it is, and we need him to step up.

It's a stretch to say that he was "better than anyone else in the country." He did not make the McDonald's All-American squad. But he is definitely a high-level talent, and should not be coming off the bench at this stage in his career. I too hope he gets it together, stat.

WHO assumed anything other than to SEE what he can do as a shooting forward. He needs to give Sir Dom time to get a rest during stretches and shound be set up to take mid range jumpers. JDR should be used to give Obekpa breaks. Balamou should be used sparingly to rest any of the guards. It is not rocket science except to the dunce that recruited these kids.

Was not surprised by 2 airballs and zero for 6 after I saw him miss 2 layups during the warmup drill

On his first two shots which were airballs, obviously he was nervous. He probably put too much pressure on himself. I expect a better performance against the Friars.

I think CO taking RJ down to Lucas for the summer can be more critical to this team than any recruit for next season. If he can make that much of a difference on DLo, he can help RJ.
