Jets 2024

The Jets don’t /didn’t need a 40 year old QB. They needed to draft and develop one. All they have done is wasted a couple of years and maybe next year as well. Why?
they tried. They can't do that. They fail every time. They either draft the wrong guy (Wilson), or they draft guys who could be okay, but don't put them in a stable enough environment for them to develop. Then they go elsewhere and produce (Geno/Darnold). I didn't mind going and getting Rodgers for that reason. But post achilles tear, I think he's feeling his age even more than he would have otherwise. Just bad all around

The problem with this team is the same problem they’ve had for decades now. The ownership sucks. Stable franchises always have solid ownership.

This has been a clown show as long as I’ve been alive and nothing indicates to me that that’s changing anytime soon. The Jets were so bad last night, I wasn’t even that upset about the Mets because I was kinda-sorta dumbfounded at how bad this team is in every aspect of the game. For this franchise, that’s almost baffling to me.

I really shouldn’t care anymore, but if woody Johnson was so serious about “turning this around”. Firing Saleh, getting Adams, getting Reddick out there… why is Greg Zuerlein still on the team? He should not have made it past the bills game

The Jet defense had absolutely no discipline, rush 5 maybe 6 guys on a 3rd and 9 and hand the QB a running lane, terrible

I don’t watch much football at all but that, Jet fans, is how a defense chokes, big time.

Even if they get a stop not sure how much credit I can give them against Jacoby Brissett and this pats team. Honestly think if we win this is one of our last wins of the season. Think this is a 6-11 team
Well, Brissett, (who I never heard of, admittedly I don’t watch or even follow the NFL very closely) certainly was the one to step up with the game on the line.

Sometimes I think Rogers wants the Jets to lose, seems like everytime they do something good, the following play they take a stupid penalty.

How many times when the Jets make a nice play, they follow that up with a delay of game penalty?
Seems like a lot to me.

I mean it’s almost like staking everything on a 40 year old QB and flashy receivers with so much else wrong that it probably wouldn’t work. Who knew?

Now what? Playoffs are a pipe dream with 6 losses. Cross another year off. Worst run franchise in sports.

To be fair it’s not like they didn’t address the problems with the team. Oline was the biggest issue, they spent big money on it and a premium pick in the draft. Still a bad line, turns out everything they tried didn’t work

What i don't understand is the Reddick move. They had to part ways with key interior run stoppers to add Reddick, and for what? You’ve gotten the production from Will McDonald that you probably hoped Reddick would give. Should have just kept guys like John Franklin Myers and never added Reddick.

In hindsight, pretty brutal offseason from Joe Douglas who pushed all the wrong buttons. And what’s really bad is he created problems by not believing in his own moves (i.e. drafting Will McDonald in the first round). Jermaine Johnson injury was a killer but this team and front office is out of excuses

With an owner who has zero sense of how to build an organization as his 16 years of ineptitude shows. He inherited J&J, had zero to do w building it.
