Jets 2024

I can’t remember the last time I saw a team have crucial mental mistakes, drop sure catches, come up short in a big spot, do their best to give the game away…

I wish the NFL would stop scheduling the Jets in Prime Time games. It’s so tough to watch any of their games.

Jet coach says Corley will learn from his mistake and he has a feeling he’ll make up for it. BS. He hasn’t learned from the hundred idiots that have done it before him. He shouldn’t at minimum play anymore tonight.

That was an insane catch by Wilson in the end zone. Even if it doesn't count that was amazing

we're in an awful position where we aren't good enough to make the playoffs but Aaron Rodgers is going to want to win as many games as he can for his ego.. put that together and I foresee 8-9, picking outside top 10, not in playoffs. JET UP BABY

I think the Jets are the best Super Bowl bet out there. The most likely scenario is they just miss the playoffs but at +6500 they have a chance with the skill position players they have. Rodgers has crawled into the playoffs as the last seed and won it all before.

So you think Rodger’s should subjugate “his ego” and TRY to lose?

It's always happy hour somewhere and apparently Marillac found one at 9:30am :)

Then why not he is going to try to win because he is a competitor and is paid to try to do so, pretty handsomely I might add? Your opinion is certainly your opinion but just curious……your post seemed hugely out of character after reading you for years.

I guess I wasn't really trying to say an opinion in my original post, it was more so just a statement about where the team stands. In some years when you have a bad team that isn't going anywhere the focus can become the draft and the future.

Rodgers being the QB supersedes that idea, is what I was getting at. I shouldn't have made it about his ego, it is really just about where he is in his career. And that is how it should be. I don't expect him to stop competing, I just think the way things this have lined up for the jets here is we have reached a bit of a dead end. It is a win now team with an old star QB that isn't going to make the playoffs. It is one of the worst spots to be. Getting a top 10 draft pick doesn't cure all your ailments but it can at least be a beacon of hope. I doubt we have that because the team will probably win a few more games. Just have never felt lower as a Jets fan personally, and there have been plenty of bad days/seasons don't get me wrong

I tell people that I used to like pro football but then decided to stay a Jets fan.
