Agreed. The whole problem is this is an Organizational issue. Rodgers should have never been here. Rodgers should not have been allowed to push for certain players to be here. They are being exposed as one of the most poorly run organizations not just in football but in ALL of sports.Rodgers is past his prime but with no offensive line and a defense that takes choking to an art form, Rodgers is far from the Jets primary issue.
You don’t build any team with a one or two year horizon. Almost like they were desperately trying to make the playoffs so they could say “we made the playoffs”. Instead they are just delaying the start of another multi year rebuild without even the slightest idea as to how they are going to get there or WHO will be making those decisions.
There is not a single GM or Coach worth his salt that is coming to the Jets if Aaron Rodgers is back next year. They need to burn it all down so they can move forward.
