Jakarr Sampon get deal with 76ers!

Yikes. Sixers fall to 0-11. If they can't beat the Knicks the next game, 0-17 or worse could be on the horizon. Sampson with a DNP coach's decision after signing Richard Covington 4 days ago from the D-league (14 minutes tonight) and calling up Drew Gordon (11 minutes tonight) from D-league on 11/10. Covington is the 9th undrafted player the Sixers have signed this year. Richardson and Jerami Grant remain injured.

He is shooting 12.5% from three, 24.1% from the field, and 50% form the FT line. It seems likely, Sampson will be demoted or cut when Grant and/or Richardson return.

In a related story, Eric Bledsoe said that Kentucky could definitely beat the Sixers in a game.
Kentucky's second team could beat the Sixers.

I think their roster has like ten undrafted players now?

absolutely NONE of this is PROOF that the Sixers are tanking however. :)

Normally the difference from college to the pros is insurmountable, but UK is loaded with first round talent and Philly is young, lacking depth, and inexperienced. Would Nerlens Noel even start at Kentucky if he was a junior there? Maybe not with the absurd front court they have. Cauley Stein and Poythress were pretty close to him statistically when they were all freshmen, but have not seen their stats or minutes go up because of the talent that came in the next two years. Poythress actually saw his stats drop dramatically.

Not worth the risk of jumping early for a partially-guaranteed contract.

He would've been All-Big East 1st team this year in a weak conference.

I wish I had the ability to write-off another person as easily as you.

I could then shed myself of burdensome traits like compassion and empathy.

It is a gift.

I was joking in the way I said it but to me, if you get sent to the NBDL it doesn't mean you won't have an NBA career, it just means you won't have an NBA career anyone will remember. Only a handful of players have (Danny Green, Jeremy Lin). It's not like I'm not rooting for him though. St. John's guys making it in the NBA is good for the program but history is on the side of him not making it at this point.

Forget about the fact that he didn't stick on the worst roster in NBA history. That's just not a good sign.

* Not that Walter Berry is a French model obviously, that's a dangling prepositional phrase. Or a split infinitive. Watever. Also, I splet wat wrong. Laso loose. Laso also. Laso laso.

Perhaps "Keep working & good luck JaKarr" would suffice.

I just figured that since JaKarr Sampson will never see this, there was no reason to address him here.

Sorry about the joke. I didn't think people would take it so hard

don't be so sure. D'lo has a tattoo saying " death to mainman " over that post of his last year that D'lo then put on social media

This thread has run its course as poor Karr has ended up exactly where most experts predicted. Tough to play in the D League waiting for an injury to a regular. Karr should have a long and productive career in Europe. Italy may await him as I suspect Lavin will broker for him on his next recruiting trip.

Wait a second, that article says he was sent down because of a "logjam." Is this sarcasm? We are talking about the 76ers right?

Either way, I'm glad to see him back up there after only one weekend.
