Lets be honest fellas. We all want to see Hurley yelling at fans and refs in the garden next year while st johns is up on them late in the 2nd half. We need this kind of rivalry.
Neither one of those coaches had pro aspirations, Hurley does.
Actually a lot of us want to see a neighbor taking video of you throwing things out the windows of your house this weekend screaming and yelling “ how could you do to this to me Danny “
That would make him roughly the 4th highest paid coach in the NBA. That’s a strong ass offer
And all I'm hearing is Danny is not meant fur nba. The moment he mouths off against Lebron.....my guess like Rick he will goto lakers bust and come back to ncaa.

It’s a win win, he’ll have a fat bank account and can still pick any job he wants in college. Billy Donovan has been out for a decade and could still pick whatever job he wanted if he chose to come back.
Rick says he doesn't think Hurley will jump now. I think Rick wants him to stay just for the rivalry part of it. '

This has to be one of the best “dog and pony shows to get more money from your current employer” I have seen in a long time.
When its all said and done, Danny Hurley will continue to be the coach of the huskies at a cool $10 mil a year.

If he wants quick $ and avoid less fun parts of college great with chance of getting fired with 5 years then LA.
If he wants the chance to be a legend in college ball remembered with names like Wooden, Smith, Coah K, Pitino and revered forever, then he stays.

There’s a certain amount of truth to this statement whether or not anyone agrees with it or not. He’ll have to prove himself at either of those places, deal with ridiculous fanbases who expect nothing but championships or stay where he’ll be a god the rest of his life. He’s rich either way.

Lakers have offered 100 mil over 8 years. Im no math major but thats 12.5 mill a year. Uconn will offer 10 mil and he will return.
