Homeland And All Things Maher

If you ever go to Belfast trust me and take a half day tour from Paddies black cab tours of all the areas of the troubles. Life changing
We went to Ireland and N Ireland back in ‘07 and we went through Derry, Londonderry, Kitatinny in Donegal and finally Belfast over the span of 5 days and the murals alone will stay with you for a long time. We were there during one of the safest periods, but you could still see how messed up the place must have been in the 70s and 80s.

This show is messing me up. I’m 6 episodes in now and it’s very emotional. If anyone has even a tiny interest in this subject, I can’t recommend enough. I don’t want to fact check until I’m done with all 9 episodes but I know the book it’s based on is considered one of the best of this century so far. Should also be noted that the show seems to be focusing on the Price sisters more than anything although it does touch on a bunch of other things.

The Agency on Paramount/Showtime oh man this looks like it's going to be great show. Last night was the premiere

I'm reading the book and watching the show at the same time although mostly finished with the book and only two episodes into the show. Book is great.

Took a "tour" (cab ride) of the wall in 2014... driver said he wouldnt have brought me there 3 years prior.... murals are something... and absolutely wild they have a 40ft Wall dividing the town...

The last 20 or so minutes of The Substance was…something. I actually had to look away from the screen several times. But, although I don’t think I’ll ever watch it again, the nominations coming in for this movie are well deserved. Demi Moore, especially, and Margaret Qualley really throw themselves into their roles.

I’m really late to the party but Detroiters is amazing. Just watched the Trevor episode…I was literally crying at the scene when Tim gets Trevor to leave the house.

It’s not always hilarious, but when it is, it’s ridiculous. You have appreciate Sam and, especially, Tim’s sense of humor. I Think You Should Leave is definitely as hit or miss as it gets. But, the Driving Crooner and the zip-line on the dating show are two of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

I think Guinness sleeps less than me because he binges so many tv shows. :)
lol I’ve been in an office for almost 3 years now and luckily when it’s slow, we are allowed to stream on our phones at our desks, so that’s when I watch a lot of this stuff. When the crap hits the fan though, the phones go away.

I don’t know why I put Shrinking off for so long because the first 3 episodes were great. Totally hooked, definitely has Bill Lawrence’s fingerprints all over it.

I was very disappointed with the series finale of “Yellowstone.” I do not think this wonderful series was given its proper send off. Of course killing off John Dutton hurt Yellowstone’s soul, and both sides should have resolved their contract disagreement.

We will see what to make of the rumored spinoff based on Beth and Rip. But they are in Texas now, and I will miss the beautiful cinematography of Big Sky country which added to the shows elegance.

Silo on Apple TV+ just got renewed for a 3rd and 4th season, might give that show a try.

Been watching "Dune: Prophecy" on Sunday nights on HBO and it has been...pretty mediocre unfortunately. Some interesting ideas but has not come together at all with just one episode left

I wasn’t a fan of Silo. Had a great pilot episode and a decent finale in season 1 but a lot of the episodes were filler (to me) and the acting pretty wooden. Even Tim Robbins seemed “off.” Haven’t bothered with season 2, there’s just so much good tv out there I’d rather not waste my time.

Not in Texas but in Montana where Beth bought them a ranch
