On second thought, maybe I won't recommend "Pangolin Party," the documentary about me screening at film festivals starting in November.

Just watched the “Socks are Important” episode and, wow, freaking intense. Having two daughters myself, the episode hits home and hard. And, Gary saves the day, good to see him get a big moment. Jesus, Ray is just super intense and super calm all at once.
The beginning was a bit odd but got better. Liked seeing the casting audition readings.
That was my favorite part also

So…done with Mr. Inbetween and have to say I’m happy to have watched. Is it one of the best shows I’ve ever watched? No. But, very engrossing, and, yes, emotional at times. I have to say I enjoyed the 2nd season the most. 3rd season was great too, but some of it felt like filler and then the last few episodes felt rushed. Thank you mase, I will echo its praises to whoever wants to listen to me.

Threw a curve ball, started watching Dark on Netflix. Heard good things and the first two episodes are interesting to say the least. Watching it dubbed is kinda weird, I hope nothing (literally) gets lost in translation. Definitely a Stranger Things/Chernobyl/David Lynch vibe.
Also, watched the first three episodes of City of God: the Fight Rages On and it’s pretty good. Nothing will ever live up to the movie, it’s one of my favorites, but good and made me jump a few times. I am watching this in Portuguese with subtitles because it felt too weird to watch dubbed. I guess Max is releasing episodes on Sundays.

On my list of all-time favorites. Was must-watch TV in our household in the 1990s. Weird to re-watch it now and see cops functioning without cell phones and other modern tools.

It was outstanding.
I saw it. It was good. It's on Hulu with options to dub the Japanese, and there is a podcast posted, if you want clarifications on the storyline or the production.
Excellent show with great production design
Excellent show, Hiroyuki Sanada was tremendous.
Also watched David Chase documentary last night, was tempted to shut it off after 10 minutes, but it was real good after that and had to watch part 2. Well done.
A couple of new mentions from me about streaming shows:
1. Bad Monkey, it is good and I like the characters a lot, but serial so you can't binge until it is all out there
2. Perfect Couple, Nicole Kidman is an ice queen in it (again), but a good actress, Leiv Schreiber plays a very good dickwad as her husband. Bono's daughter plays a main character and is great, even if she is a nepo baby (great eyes).
Enjoyed them both, not like Ozark, Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad, but very watchable.

If you haven't watched Slow Horses yet, you are missing out on a great show. Season four started two weeks ago and it is superb, almost as good as the books they are based on which are written by Mick Herron, great characters excellently played by Gary Oldman and Kristen Scott Thomas among others. It streams on Apple TV and should be waeched in succession starting with season one.
Going to definitely try Slow Horses.
I just binged all 4 seasons. Wow! Plot twists and interesting characters made this a great watch. Seasons are 6-45 minute episodes . The only downside was that we have to wait until mid-2025 for season 5. I may have to jump into the books.
