Dunlap absolutely does deserve minutes and that’s why he is getting them. Contrary to the prevailing posting here he is a very solid defender, both on his man and helping, hedging and rotating. He is a hustler, a skill the Johnnie’s could use more of. He also constantly moves without the ball and it never sticks in his hand on offense. Bobby Knight used to preach that you want to see a players true worth to a team game, watch him play when the ball is not in his hands. There is way more to the game and a winning team than what shows in a box score.
For whatever reason, Brady & Kadary seem to be lightning rods for criticism on our team. I have my theory as to why but will keep it to myself. I agree that Brady is a solid rotation player on our team. Plays like a coach's son and gave us a solid 24 minutes today with 7 rebounds and 0 turnovers. Took a couple of rushed shots but I have no problem with him getting 7th-8th man type minutes.
We need Smith with his head in team play to go anywhere though imho.

I was ready to go all out on the bandwagon, then there was the Georgia loss. Now I feel like the train has to start back up, and hopefully by mid January it’s rolling.

We are bigger, faster and stronger than teams like Harvard. They have to play 40 minutes of relentless ball. Keep the pressure on and these teams will wilt in the 2nd half. We should be playing our guys for 5-6 minutes and then subbing them out.

I get Brady is playing hard and getting rebounds but he is so one dimensional on offense that if he can't make shots it diminishes he hustle elsewhere.

Logen noted him moving without ball which I see at times, but more than not he's camped out in the corner and players are not going to look to him. I saw RJ not even give him a look when he was all by himself. RJ took it in..but that's just as much on RJ but I do think there is some of questioning his shot making

The problem with Brady is when he misses, it is always ugly.

Dunlap absolutely does some things well. Good passer, weak side rebounder and hustles. He just can’t shoot. Lots of guys can’t. My problem isn’t with him but with the posters who keep telling me he can shoot.
Reminds me of Fred Lyson who I liked but was also not a very good shooter.
