Guys on Matt’s Radar
My early impression remains they will bring in a ready to play big man and 3 perimeter guys. Would suspect Caraher is likely and they will add two of the guards noted in this thread.

That leads me to believe 19 focus will be on Iggie, Kofi and perhaps Gaffney which is fine. Lewis and Antoine are long shots imo. Hopefully the transfer guards prove to be competent and take some of pressure off succeeding big time in 19. Just my sense of things, but we’ll see.
Wouldn't that put us over the limit at 14?

That assumes no one leaves. Both Clark and Simon will be eligible to grad transfers.

Never worry about that, coaches don’t.

Especially SJU
As someone noted, SJ likes this kid, but Baylor alway$ tough to beat.

Auburn transfer Davion Mitchell will take an official visit to Baylor this weekend, he tells ESPN. Visited Georgia State last week.
Per Evan Daniels he committed to Baylor.

Bummer, but i was getting the impression he was slipping away. On to Dachon Burke, who would be a very nice acquisition.

Some nice guards being mentioned, but hope Matt is doing a different kind of shopping.........

Dachon Burke G Transfer, 2 years left with in home visit today, to be followed by official visits here & at another school or two.

Desaun Murray Grad Transfer F

Eli Wright G Transfer w 2 yrs left

Maurice Calloo, PF, 18 recruit 4 year

“Mystery” grad transfer or 18 interior kid. Obviously it is most important piece. Hopefully this will be clearer this week.

My order of interest..............

1. Mystery Big (wish most important need wasn't a mystery!)
2. Eli Wright (good insurance for Simon departure after next year)
3. Dachon Burke
4. Deshaun Murray (although if we strike out on a big I would move him up because he plays under the basket)
5. Maurice Calloo

Goodman

Robert Morris sophomore transfer Dachon Burke will host Pittsburgh Tuesday and Nebraska on Wednesday for in-home visits, he told ESPN.

Goodman just tweeted that he will also host Marquette on Thursday. Line getting long for Burke.

When I first moved to the city I would stop and watch there all the time before going to work at the Bottom Line.
I hope you weren't the idiot who kept booking Buster Poindexter there.

Actually, if you've ever mentioned Bottom Line here before, I'm sure I responded with a Buster Poindexter comment. Seemed like he was always there when I was at NYU.
Nah, I forget who the booker was but she was dating Dennis, the drummer from The Smithereens. I was just a host/doorman for a year or so in 84/85 before starting my real career. Buster persona came about after my time there, though I was a big David Johansen fan back then.

Next year is Clark's last year, in fact he should have been grad transfer eligible this spring as well but thankfully that was never even discussed I assume. He spent 2 years at MSJ and now 2 years at SJU.

Perhaps he is shy credits even with summer courses.

Wanted to get Davion Mitchell, now hoping we can prevail for Dachon Burke. He and Dixon would be a solid 'transition' tandem from Ponds/Simon to Gaffney/?? in subsequent years.
We shall see.
Any word how our in home visits went today?
Yeah, they said we're now the frontrunner for their services.
