We got killed inside again and again between their big guy and Sabonis
Jones simply can't play the middle when Obekpa is out, so Dom at 6'6" plays center
Not a good formula going against a team with 2 guys nearly 7 foot tall
Jordan has so much talent but doesn't play under control
We are "the gang that can't shoot straight"
No consistency shooting from the outside and horrific from the foul line
If these guys were young, I'd say great effort and a "moral victory" against #10
However, at this point, it's time to put the "big boy pants" on and win these games!!

Losses do not bother me much any more. Sure I want them to do well, but I am just looking at the program matter of factly. This is part of the reason I didn't renew my season tickets, and have become part of a larger group of the "disgraceful fan base."
With a group that has been together a while, like this one has, I am not giving accolades for trying. That is to be expected. A loss, is a loss. Gonzaga is not Kentucky. And these are not freshmen. If the team made less of the same bonehead plays, they would have won.
Watching this team is like watching the Honeymooners. I know what is going to happen even before it does. Except nothing here is funny. Even during the frantic comeback I expected something bad to happen.
Good luck to the team. Always root for them. But it just gets tougher and tougher to get geared up.

This is disappointing because our defense played well enough for us to win. Wiltjer and Pangos only combined for 19 pts. Have got to take advantage of that.
Man its easy to say now but those two points that Jordan gave back to them on an idiotic goal tend as well as the two missed put-backs that dom had in first 10 minutes could have been the difference. I saw obekpa foul on three plays where he barely made contact while Dlo got hit in a harder and more obvious fashion on several occasions with no foul resulting.

I have to throw myself into that group last night but I blame it on PC Richards.
On the bright side my new ultra hi def tv was delivered last night so now it seems like the games are being played in my living room

they probably got word from Weatherman about my PC Richards delivery screwup and figured it would be unprofitable to open without me being there

I would say Wed and Friday about 1/3 of the vendors were open. They didn't even offer tickets in the upper bowl only the lower.

Are you really saying we support this team only when we are a winning program? I have been a fan since the championship game between us and the Clyde Lovellet Kansas Jayhawks. I suffered through the depressing years when Mulzoff was still coach. And I will continue to support the Redmen whether we win or lose.
I don't think anyone on here talked about our missed free throws, free throws wins games. We would of won today again if it wasn't for us shooting so poorly at the line. This has been a trend for the past 2 years now, we would of been a tournament team last year if we just hit out free throws. Remember the games against DePaul, providence , and Syracuse we lost those 3 games all because we missed throws. We let another one slip away, but I have faith in my johnnies we will make the dance this year !!!

like i said before....what exactly is the draw of MSG for recruits? As historic a building it is....no one wants to play in front of 5k fans...
