I think the team is finally starting to gel and our bench is getting valuable experience with both Smith and Dunlap sidelined but I share Larry's concerns about 3 point shooting and foul shooting.
Ironically our most difficult part of the Big East schedule is coming and those two issues need to be managed better.
Uconn and Marquette twice is daunting but I will settle with a split with each.
I'm lighting a candle for Smith because he is integral for the Big East tournament and the big show.

Had a work event but was able to catch most of the game. Absolutely elite defense that has been consistent throughout the season. The switchability is a luxury most teams don't have and our scrambling is one of the best I've ever seen.

Kadary has been playing his best since he's been given the ball more due to Smith's injury. Going to be interesting to see how Rick incorporates Smith back into the lineup when he's ready.

Feels great but not getting too high yet. The offense still needs to be better.

I was at this game with a buddy who went to PC. One of the guys in the box with us turned to me at one point and said "this is like watching two high school teams". They are so bad. We may beat them worse than G'town.
They play hard for English and will shoot at ton of 3s. Took 19 last time and made 7. Not taking anyone for granted, but fortunately it seems that is this team's mantra right now. One game at a time, and then right to the next one.

You can do whatever you want, I am taking them for granted. 😂
I don't care how hard they play or how many threes they hit, we are going to run them out of the gym. I just watched these guys (PC) turn the ball over 19 times against the worst team in the league because they couldn't handle their pressure. How do you think that's going to go Saturday? Their bigs are barely Big East quality. We just held a better team to 41 points on their home floor. They are not on our level right now, trust me.

Whup em, get Smith back in gear, and lets see how we do under the bright lights on Tuesday.

This is wonderful . We are creating a level of play that is just amazing .
I’m hoping for a 41-9 repeat . As a upcoming score . Us on the delivery .
We owe them ! Never forget .
I was too. I was not able to watch this live and Dvrd it but I couldn’t help but remember being at MSG and looking up seeing that score in the first half and us being on the wrong side of it.

Too say this was refreshing is a huge understatement.
