Was just texting with Dinkins. This turnaround is reminding me of Lavin's first year turnaround

This was akin to the Marquette road win that season. We were down 7 in the second half, didn’t panic. Played our game and came back and won rather matter of factly. That team really played well on the road that season.

Weirdest play of the game - Posh called for an offensive foul when he shot and made a trey
I don't think I have ever seen a 3 point shooter whistled for an offensive foul on his shot
When I heard the whistle, I figured it would be a defensive foul and a chance at a 4 point play

Great win for team showing good defense when needed--they have now Handled two of the Big East Preseason First teamers in a row (Gillespie and Duke) while our backcourt has been very good.  Watson got his points but over last 16 minutes had only 6 and Horchler e in second half.  Good changes by coach and  adapting by team.  Also Friars demonstrate the problem of having no bench and not developing the other guys on the team versus what CMA has done with his players.  Our stamina came through today.  Watson was having problems getting back and Moore had a couple from under the basket.  He is not a defensive force and our ability to drive the hoop was evident as we stopped the 3's in second half and went inside.

this was absurd.  Was barely a foul if at all and bucket should have counted.
