As for Wusu - I'm high on him.  No one, perhaps except the staff could have envisioned Wusu playing nearly 20 min a game at the level he has.  I think he's quicker than some think. When he drives to the lane, he's a fast and controlled ball of muscle.

Wusu is a warrior.  He's the type of guy you want in your platoon during combat.
Reminds me of luther Mohammed.

As a number of posters have pointed out, you don't judge recruiting by how many stars a high school player has but how they play once they get to college which is all that matters. Two years in, CMA's recruits have proven to be pretty good.

your first 30 seconds pretty much says it all. Great way to start the cast

I dont folloe recruiting but how do the 5 star guards this class rank against Posh ? Also I havent watched much of other games conference wise other than us but obviously Posh is a first teamer but I swear when I see Wusu I see 4 years of being very happy if not ecstatic
Given Posh's small size I think it would be hard for him to be drafted but who knows. If he keeps playing like this he can certainly make money somewhere. I am hoping he and Wusu will be in our backcourt for the next three seasons and that we will have Pinzon also for four years. Those should be 3 excellent players and give us real good depth at the guard position going forward.
CMA's once maligned recruiting is starting to look very very good.
looking forward to his best class yet next fall , which hopefully will include a true post player.

Posh will be making money somewhere after college. It may not be the NBA unless he finds a team that can utilize his skill set properly.

My son trains with Jazz Johnson's father. Jazz was the point guard on the good Nevada team from a couple of years ago. Jazz is built like Posh though definitely not as athletic. Jazz is probably a better shooter though Posh will hopefully keep improving. Jazz is currently in Italy starting at point guard and making money.

Bump
Your podcasts definitely deserve their own thread so they don't get lost in multi page threads.

Favorite part is when you lean forward with both hands to turn off the video (and I don't mean because it is over LOL). Great signature move.

The Friars had never allowed more than 91 points in regulation through Cooley’s previous 321 games in charge. It’s also the first time since 2009-10 that Providence has dropped back-to-back home games by double digits.

--Providence Journal
Not once in the Providence Journal article did Cooley give St. John's any credit for the win.  Pretty much a sore loser.

Cooley is a good coach, but a disrespectful dirtbag.  I'm ok with that. He wants to win more than anything and I don't think it's a bad thing.  He's a bad winner and bad loser like us fans.  Still happy to hand him a big loss any time.

Agree Cooley's a good coach. As for being a bad winner and loser, like us fans, he's not a fan. He's a coach, a professional. And as much as he wants to win, his sore loser demeanor is unprofessional.

Great game today. Even after they lost the lead, they kept their composure and went on a run to take the lead and put the game away.

Just curious, why didn't Toro play? I don't want to go through every page of the threads. Just thought he could've put a body on Watson if available. Thank you.

Suspect that currently he is the 10th man in a 9 man rotation as others have just been playing better. From what I've seen of coach CMA would suspect he does get another opportunity for limited meaningful minutes. JMHO of course.

What a pleasant surprise this season has turned into. Coach doing an exemplary job. We consolidated the Villanova win. like holding serve after breaking Djokovic. The game automatically feels good after Posh hits that 1st 3. The Champ just gets on fire. Mega kudos to Dunn for playing a head up game and Moore doing his dunking thing. Glad Cole didn't try to force anything and recognize other guys had it going. Wusu reminds me of a smaller Knicks era Anthony Mason. At times I was thinking he should muscle up Watson.

Toro hasn't shown any indication he can play at this level. I don't think he would have helped vs Watson,

It's no coincidence that the team has been playing much better since CMA went to the shorter rotation, and since Roberts has started giving us some productive minutes in the middle.
