I'm saying Whitesell has to free him up.

I just can't picture Dee missing wide open shots (again limited video).

I'm just wondering how many screens we are setting for him.
 
That's one thing I was a bit disappointed w yesterday. Dee shot a lot of shots but mediocre fg%. That's got to improve.
 
I think this team also beat Oklahoma. Lets not freak out yet we have had 2 weeks of practice and have what 3 months before the season.
 
I have to admit that I am very disappointed. Not so much with the loss, but getting destroyed like that should not be happening year 3. With that written, this team has only practiced for ten days, it is missing two key players, it played two games in 24 hours, and is probably only a fraction as good as it will be in March. SJU lost to a professional team that has practiced a lot more than ten times together. Moustapha Diarra is 6’11 and Olualu is a 6’7 beast that averaged 14 and 9 for La Tech before going for 9 and 6 for Oregon. I really wanted him to transfer to St. John’s for his season.

Hopefully this loss humbled all of our “future pros” and helps us in the long run. I’d rather a loss like this to a tough professional team that walking through some cupcakes and entering the season not understating how much improvement is needed.
 
Early, but it looks like Max is going to push for serious minutes this year. Zone buster. Can't bury that on the bench. Again, just early saying this. Not proclaiming anything. Our perimeter shooting will take us far. Been our Achilles heel.

Good to read that Orlando is rebounding even if his offense is slow coming.

Not upset at all...considering they beat Temple by 30 and the fact that the FT's were so lopsided. Also factor in that Jordan never played...with him it's much closer. Anyway, from the video from the first game, anyone else notice D'Lo was smiling in the huddle? Now that's nice to see. We are CRAZY athletic. Expect tons of highlight plays making the SC top 10 this year.

Agreed. I like this version if Joe better. By the way, let's remember that these are exhibitions. The minute show that we were trying things out. On a side note, Mr. jones who can't rebound according to some, has done quite well in limited minutes in tweo games.

Dude, it's not like we were Republicans making shite up, he didn't rebound last year, by eyes or by stats. With his size he should have. Today he did. Hope it continues. Still doubt he'll get many minutes.
