The FT disparity aside, it sounds like we missed a ton of outside shots.

His tweets had us down around 5, then 13 then it just balloned with not much details in between.

Sounds like Orlando was our best player on the floor.

I wonder if D'Angelo put up another 20 shots.

Great learning experience regardless. Team will get to travel, sightsee and review the tape for the next few days.

Hopefully, we're able to see the box scores again, today.

It seemed our early lead began to shrink, once Branch and Harrison went to the bench. Maybe, Jordan and Greene could've kept things stabilized if they were healthy.

Oh well.... A good, learning experience (as, you've stated) for the team. These games (and life experience) could very, well go a long way towards our season.

I'm sure we'll never see more than highlights from this game so it's hard to assume, but Jakarr had a way of letting his frustrations get to him last year whenever he got into foul trouble.

Hopefully that's still not the case and if it is, he can get it out of his system now and leave it right there in Europe.

At least he had enough sense to realize as such and hire a good X and O guy. :)
 
Not upset at all...considering they beat Temple by 30 and the fact that the FT's were so lopsided. Also factor in that Jordan never played...with him it's much closer. Anyway, from the video from the first game, anyone else notice D'Lo was smiling in the huddle? Now that's nice to see. We are CRAZY athletic. Expect tons of highlight plays making the SC top 10 this year.

Now I'm really optimistic for the season because when Joe is happy after a loss you know something good must be around the corner

Very surprised to hear that we got beat up inside with us having a size advantage. Is this the team with Moustafa Diarra? That name is very familiar.

It is. I think he played 1 year at San Fran. He did play in the highest french league a couple years back. They also had Olu Ashaolu who was a 4 star PF who went to La Tech and transferred to Oregon.

Branch had 6 turnovers.
D'Angelo shot 3/10 (he's now 10/30 FG for the trip).
Jakarr 2/9 FG.
