EPL 2015-16

"IF" Arsenal got Benzema, curious what other Arsenal fans would have as their starting 11?

I happen to be a big fan of Giroud. Sure he's frustrating at times but I think most of that can be solved if he was utilized better. Was also a big Podo fan. When he played he scored, end of story.

With Benzema what do my fellow Gunner faithful want to see on the pitch

Best XI would look something like this: Cech, Koscielny, mertesacker, debuchy, nacho, cazorla, ozil, ramsey, ox, alexis and Benzema?

Need a DM, so Ox or Ramsey will lose out to Coquelin. I would have Bellerin ahead of Debuchy. Other than that, you are spot on.

Ramsey hasn't looked good recently so that would make sense.

Ox can play all over. Remember they were trying him at DM a year or two ago. He is so valuable.

I agree on Bellerin over Debuchy. He's been disappointing.

Cech
Bellerin, Koscielny, Per, Nacho
Le Coq
Alexis Santi Ozil Theo
Benzema

My problem with that 11 is thats the best 11 for me but Le Coq will not play there alone and I hate having Santi that deep.

you think they would play cazorla as a CDM? I dont watch nearly enough games to comment on arsenals tactics, but i do know that hes a pretty good attacking midfielder

Likely no. He has dropped back but I guess thats the problem now. Too many attacking MF's. You could put Ramsey there but I hate him. And Jack is always hurt.

Indeed and a very nice goal too. They looked much more cohesive today and should have won by more. Palace did not create much. Sanchez was everywhere and Ozil, Cazorla and Coq had a good game although the latter had to leave early to avoid another yellow. Ramsey is an enigma. There are games when he looks world class but today was not one of them. Too many mis-placed passes and bad choices. A very important 3 points in the bag. Up next, Liverpool at home. Easy 3 points ;)

Man City looked very good against Chelsea. Deep squad and maybe more players arriving, (Kevin de Bruyne?). Expect Abramovich to open up the check book in the coming days.

Man City has been pretty impressive so far. Chelsea have to figure it out quickly before they get left behind.

Liverpool v Bournemouth later today

Funny story. Years ago when I was like 7 or so my dad went on business trips to England. He brought me back a jersey once from the area he worked. Last weekend we were watching arsenal and he asked me who got promoted I told him Bournemouth and he freaked out. Apparently that was the place he worked and that was the jersey got me. I didn't even know that. He was in such shock when I told him because when he worked there they were terrible and in the bottom division.

City and United will go down to the wire. I see a blue moon rising

put it in the books. City look like they will mop up the entire league

Too soon to proclaim that but if they play close to the form they're on now that's definitely a possibility.

On a related note: boy do i like watching Aguero play... hes a menace

Seeing how dominant he is makes you wonder if Argentina beats Germany if he and Di Maria were healthy

Way to early to predict. Even with that being said, ManU has two wins but need work.
