EPL 2015-16

Man City looked very good against Chelsea. Deep squad and maybe more players arriving, (Kevin de Bruyne?). Expect Abramovich to open up the check book in the coming days.

Man City has been pretty impressive so far. Chelsea have to figure it out quickly before they get left behind.

Didn't they say no team has won the League after not winning 1 of their first 2 matches?

Agreed. Only two games but can't afford to fall any further behind Man City. Time to break the bank for Griezmann. He would solve most of Chelsea's problems. Whats up with Ivanovic? He's been horrible.

Mourinho always loves a challenge. Lets see where everyone is come New Years.

By the way never the end of the world to lose to a top four team on the road. Lets see what Chelsea does with City when they visit the Bridge. If it were a home loss I would be more concerned.

City look good but way too early to crown them champs... it being a marathon and all that. If Yaya loses form again or Aguero gets injured they may stutter. They do have quality in depth though and have started very strong.

The real question is what the heck is going on at Chelsea? Signing Falcao was bizarre. Substituting John Terry, bizarre. Mourhino fighting with his medical staff, bizarre. Hazard and Fabregas look tired and their squad not as deep as you would expect at Stamford Bridge.

Look for Bournemouth to surprise Liverpool today :p

Ivanovic has looked slow and lets be honest.. Chelsea's back 4 might be the slowest out of all the contenders. Their skill and teamwork carried them last yr but they seem out of sorts so far. Stones may be a good pick up at the deadline but how do you see Griezmann working out? A CF next to costa? I'd rather he replace him

Any chance there is another Africa Cup of Nations this January? Losing Toure last January cost Man City a shot at the title. He has been a beast so far. After last season I definitely thought he was on his last legs. Kompany also looks like he found the fountain of youth. We'll see. There will be lots of twists and turns before the end of the season.

Not good if Chelsea looks tired two games into season. I think they made mistake starting pre season training so late. I think they were last team to report. They just look out of sync right now. They definitely need more depth with an aging squad. Should've keep Luis and let him start at Left back and move Azi (Dave) to right back to split time with ivanovic. How good would Debruyne look in Blue now? They got rid of him to soon.

Keep Costa up top and play Griezmann opposite Hazard on the right. Griezmann can also play as lone striker or even play on left and give Hazard a rest every once in a while. He would instantly energize the team and provide depth in case of injury.

By the way against fast teams why not give Cuardrado a start at right back? He's played there before and would give backline some speed.

Griezmann may be at his best as a lone striker (as he was last yr for atletico). I haven't heard much about him leaving though... would be a good addition to any team. Getting real tired of Costa and his antics

Mourhino being Mourhino.

Which means they should win a double this year.

City and United will go down to the wire. I see a blue moon rising

put it in the books. City look like they will mop up the entire league

By the way Ramires goal in the 70th minute should've counted. You can be sure at 1-1 at the 70th minute it would've been a different result and City wouldn't be looking so invincible.

looked offside to me. I know mourinho said it was onside but from my view it was a good call

He was kept on by the RB on the side of the referee who made the call. Don't think the result would've been any different in any occasion, City looked like the better team

Falcao just looked horrible last year a ManU. We will see if he can regain his form, but I have my doubts.

Chelsea's back 4 can't be more worrisome than United's, especially in the center.

I'm a fan of Darmian on the right side but the center is def the weakness of Man U. Blind is doing an admirable job thus far though but Chelseas lack of pace and reliance on Matic to shorten the field is what worries me.

Bournemouth don't look too bad atm, I'd be hard pressed to believe they can avoid the drop, but they are definitely out to prove themselves in these matches against big clubs. Theyve had some decent spells of possession.

City was definitely the better team but nobody locks down a game better than Mourinho. Mikel would've come on to lock down the middle instead of subbing in Falcao. At 1-1 Mourinho would've went for the tie. With 9 men in the box City would've been forced more into a crowded middle instead of all free space they enjoyed on the wings.

I like Benteke.
