EPL 2015-16

LVG reportedly was given the next 2 days off so the club can decide what they want to do. I think he's done. Question is, do you give the spot to Giggs right now, or wait a little longer for the right opportunity?

How about them blues :)

Giggs

Definitely Giggs. Fits like Mullin coming to SJU. He understands the culture and expectations and he'll have some time and latitude to learn...before the ManU fans eat him alive! ;)

Ever since Abramovich came on the scene Arsenal find ways to lose against Chelsea. While Costa made a meal of Mert sliding in, the German should have stayed on his feet and tried to force Costa wide. Only bright spot was Sanchez coming back. Walcott is in a funk and cannot be trusted to start. The midfield duo of Ramsey and Flamini is not working. Need Coquelin back. Maybe we will see Elneny this weekend in the FA Cup.

What about Norwich-Liverpool? That game was insane.

What was Mersacker thinking? He still had Cech back there and its only 18 minutes in. Nothing says that Costa would've beaten Cech. Flamini should've had two goals. He might have the worst touch in the EPL after Mikel.

Norwich/Liverpool was a fun game. Klopp was on an emotional rollercoaster. Funny watching him bitch and moan about the added time until he team wins in the 95th minute.

I would let Giggs finish out the season and make a longterm decision after the season. Very hard for a massive club like United to commit to someone with no experience. I still think Zidane crash and burns at Madrid and he had a couple of seasons with the Madrid youth team but just not enough experience.

How about Matt Miazga going from the Red Bulls to Chelsea. I'm sure this will make Klinsmann happy as long as Miazga gets to play. Would be great if Miazga ends up being better than Stones.

Yedlin Part 2

Not sure what that means.

How's Yedlin doing at Tottenham

He's not at Tottenham. He's at Sunderland? Are you saying that neither Yedlin nor Miazga will ever make it in the EPL? I think its way too early in the game to make that statement. How's John Stones doing in the EPL? One might say he's having a worst year then Yedlin. Stones errors have accounted directly for eight goals against and Everton is towards the bottom of the table in goals allowed. Let the young guys get some valuable experience and see how they develop.

Don't take shots at the American's they advanced further than Spain in the last World Cup.

I would not take random shots at American players.

On the other hand, I can't make the same promises about Klinsmann. He sucks.

My point was Yedlin was sold to Tottenham but couldnt crack their lineup and was sent to lowly Sunderland who is in Relegation zone. As promising as Miazga is I don't think he's on Chelsea level so will they just flip him away to another club. Since Chelsea is the King of loans.

Yes, he will probably end up at Vitesse in the Fall but his contract does state that he can't be loaned out. Chelsea has said he will stay with the first team until the summer. Even if all he gets is the opportunity to train everyday with JT for four months that would be priceless experience.

Yeah, can honestly say the only way I'd pay the 500 asking price for a Copa America ticket would be to go and boo Klinsman. I cannot for the life of me fathom why he has not been kicked out the door already. Enough is enough. Sunnil has lost his touch here, either Klinsman has something on him or he doesn't give a damn.

I really dont like Klinsmann either.

He reminds me a little of Lavin.

Looks like 4 months is it

Hard to imagine Chelsea without JT. I don't get why they don't offer him another year. He's been pretty solid recently after a tough start.

Pep is going to Man City.

Today is transfer deadline day, last call for the wheeler-dealers.

Premier League resumes tomorrow after the FA Cup (all the big boys progressed). Not sure where Guinness77 is these days but his Spurs are the form team.

And after a lifetime of making friends, John Terry is retiring.

He didn't say he was retiring, he said his BPL career is over. I bet he ends up doing of of those MSL farewell tours as well. I guess that's kind of like retirement.

Don't be so sure. Not many MLS teams especially the markets he wants to go to have the room. While he can be serviceable in MLS and likely one of the Top 10 CB's in the league unless he wants to go to markets like NE, CHI or DC he won't have many MLS options.
