I know it's only a couple of games, but a very beat up Liverpool team looks light years better with Klopp at the helm.

I was at the City/Pool match and my God is Klopp fun to watch on the sidelines.
Also went to the Spurs match today. They really look good as much as it pains me to say that.
Amazing how many injuries Arsenal has every year.

It must be something Wenger is (not) feeding them! Or his training methods... Peculiar thing is, they hired some hotshot fitness & conditioning guy (Shad Forsythe) but the issue has become even worse! There are at lest 6-8 on the injury list at any given time.
Losing Cazorla and Sanchez is a blow. Fortunately Ramsey and Ox are coming back and maybe Walcott. Very disjointed in the last three PL games. They need to be getting wins at WBA and Norwich, not dropping points. Trip to Greece will be tough. Almost prefer if they go into the Europa league.

Would you really want them playing Thursday night matches in freezing eastern Europe?

Unfortunately it is their level. If they pull off a miracle in Greece, they exit in the Round of 16 in the CL anyway - based on recent history. Cazorla injury could be serious but he has not been great this year. Slip Ramsey into that role in front of Flamini, play Ox for Alexis on the left and Campbell on the right. Makeshift but it is all we have. Ozil gets to roam. Be nice if Theo could get off the treatment table for a game or two.

Who do you want in January and you do you realistically think Arsene will take.
It is time to start taking Leicester seriously. Be interesting to see if they can hold on to Mahrez and Vardy in Jan – but I think they will both stay. The Foxes are definitely the neutrals favorite.
Chelsea – what the heck is going on? Cannot believe now that Arsenal lost to them…
Arsenal vs Man City on Monday, should be a good one.

Chelsea totally outplayed Leicester. Chelsea had 65% possession, more shots, more shots on goal, substantially more corners. Chelsea just couldn't finish. My god when did Chelsea turn into Arsenal?
AT this point Chelsea has no interest in the EPL. They will finish mid table. Only chance for Europe is to win the CL (unlikely) or get a Europa bid by winning the FA Cup. Chelsea need to rebuild. Hopefully they use the Hazard money wisely. Might be tough to attract top talent this summer without the promise of playing in the CL but United was able to do it.

I don't know that Chelsea outplayed them. That is how Leicester like to play - you can have all the possession you want but we will hit you on the break. Their goals were top drawer quality.
Anyway... the big news is that The Special One is out! The Portugeezer's reign of terror is over. Be interesting to see who steps into a precarious role.

Guus Hiddink is named the interim manager. Anyone willing to make guesses as to who will be the next hire??

Would love to see Ancelotti come back but you know Roman will throw big bucks at Pep. Pep is the guy he always wanted. We'll see how it plays out.
Pep might go to Chelsea - but they do not have the players suited to his style of play.
Pep might go to Man City - but what has Pellegrini done wrong? He (like Ranieri and Wenger) is a quiet professional who gets his team to play the right way with little hysteria. Why is Pellegrini being pushed out? Man C. are doing fine so far this year. But I can see Man C playing the Pep way.
Pep might go to Man U - but I thought they were committed to LvG and stated they were not interested in Pep? Another team that lacks they players to match Pep's style.
I actually think Pep would be best suited to Arsenal, but Wenger shows no signs he wants to step down.
Pep might take another sabbatical or go to Italy or back to Spain...
