Lol. Alexis?! Best player in the league???? Eye-ca-rumba. In a week or 2 he will be re-assuming his role as a bum. Arsenal is a great team, they don't need Alexis. Guy plays with his tail between his legs and now all of a sudden because he scores a few goals he's the greatest thing on earth. He'll return to his normal overrated self in no time.
Lol. Didn't know saying I thought hazard was overrated struck such a chord with you. But real nice argument bringing up one game where Alexis didn't play well. And chris7 if "going back to his overrated self" is scoring 16 goals a season wow I want to be overrated haha. Chelsea fans can't be even have one bad year without sounding bitter.
Don't see how I'm sounding bitter. I thought we were debating who the best player in the league is. Hazard wasn't brought up, but he is typically one of the more popular answers when this question is discussed so I said I felt he is overrated. Cpavin then went off about how arsenal hasn't won anything in years and how they won't go far in the CL. THATS what I'm saying made him sound bitter. I thought we were just discussing who the best player is. But of course Chelsea fans have to take shots at arsenal.

I give up. It's impossible for you to ever see anyone's perspective but your own. Obviously fans are going to support the best player on their team and take it as a shot against the team. Your cabinet's empty, and will continue to be. Sanchez will fade into the darkness in a few weeks, and come January Chelsea will be knocking on the top 5's door.

I too give up. My point I'm trying to make is say you were a Yankees fan and I was a mets fan. And I say David wright is better than Alex Rodriguez. You wouldn't throw your arms up and say "We have more World Series titles and we will go further in the playoffs this year!"
No, you'd probably debate why you think a rod is better than wright. That's what I'm talking about.

IMO: Would def take Hazard and Aguero way before Alexis. Good player but not the gamechanger the other two guys are. Thats just counting the attacking options, there are still defenders and midfielders that are crucial to many teams

Selling Cech was the right move. He's too good to be a backup but it's unfortunate to lose Courtois for such a long period.

Ivanovic for sure... Idk how someone can regress so much during one offseason. It was coming though, you cant rely on john terry and an aging backline to replicate their form from last year.
