The formula to a BE title

“If you can win on the road in this conference, you’re going to have a chance of being an upper echelon team,” Pitino said. “It’s going to be very difficult for every team in this conference to win on the road — every team — because there are no more DePauls or Georgetowns of last year. … It’s a lot different this year than last year. If you can ever win 50 percent of your road games, whoever does that, is going to win the conference.”

RJ going to explode on Creighton tomorrow. In fact, we have a few guys on offense for whom Creighton has no answers. We are a quantifiably better team than they are and will overcome their significant home court advantage with our defense, rebounding, and number of offensive possessions.
The last part of the last sentence is all we ve got... according to Kimmie.

30 min mark of the latest episode I preview the Creighton game today and what possible surprises Rick Pitino has in store if St. John's wants to win.

Love these games, especially on my lanai lol

“The aren't many chances for a signature win in the Big East right now. The good news: that may make St. John's a title contender. The bad news: no guarantee a win at Creighton Tuesday provides a needed signature win.”

Question for the streaming experts - If I come home at 5pm for today's game and don't know the score, can I start from the beginning of the game?

We don’t have to have the highest payroll. The level of talent we’re getting makes us very competitive and with a hall of fame coach and some luck, I like our chances to consistently dance and make a deep run in the tournament at least once over the next three years. Is there anybody on this board who wouldn’t have signed up for this two years ago?

Yes, there should be options to watch live and watch from the beginning

Not to derail the thread but the seton hall one still baffles me. Once the refs reviewed the play and realized LJ saved the ball cleanly without stepping out, by rule it should have been an inadvertent whistle (jump ball) and if I recall correctly we had the possession arrow. It still makes no sense to me how seton hall ended up with it. Again just truly feels like refs didn’t want to experience the boo birds and chickened out

I was at that game too, with my dad, we still talk about it when St. John’s is in close games
How about the Rutgers Big East tournament game Lav’s first year where we benefited from a horrific call? It all evens out
