Wilcher is the only true pg on the team but hes not ready for big east minutes. His lack of development is killing us.

Saw some pretty encouraging signs from Luis tonight and I wouldn’t be surprised Rick let’s him bring the ball up at times this season

It didn’t sound winnable to you based on your need of miracle posts the last 10 minutes of this game even though we were in it to the end.

To me even after the 3 to go up 63-61 it never felt like we were going to win because we just never made the little plays or got the big stops

He is putting the wrong players in the wrong spots. Don’t care how great a coach he is, Jenkins and Ledlum should not lead this team or really any team in shots.

It's a close call, but I would trust CRP's opinion. About 5 minutes of Wilcher in a game like this and most of us would be hoping Bobby Kelly still had some eligibility left. And you can throw Richie Lyons in the bucket.

Let's realize reality.

We have the best coach. We have mid major players. The best coach can not win in major league with mid major players.

Again, Ledlum, Dingle and Jenkins can not compete with Major league.

We only lost by 4 points not 40, so I would say they can compete.

I have to agree here. I mean, Dingle and Taylor just made big 3s and you don’t get that last shot to either of them? That’s a mistake.

Don’t forget he missed 2 free throws earlier in the game. And 2 open 3 point shots.

he also, got 5 points in the beginning when no else could score, plus had other key baskets when UCONN was pulling away in second half. He played poorly in last few minutes, it happens. Doesn't mean it is a trend, yet.

Are you kidding me? Where some of you guys come from. Uconn can afford throwing in a frosh or two. We need the veterans in. We aren't UConn. Witcher 4 star recruit trust in coach. Remember Rick built this team in less then a month

Dingle hit a 3 to get us within 1 a minute or two earlier. PG should be looking to set up a 3, not just chucking up shots.

Jenkins doesn't play like he trusts the other guys on the floor. That bothers me.

Can't imagine Pintino closes his eyes to Jenkins shot taking in film room. Just not sure why that isn't changing during games.

Ledlum is scrappy but plays like he's in a corporate league.

I’m more pissed about Uconn fans texting me right now than game itself. We outplayed them tonight, that’s why this loss stings. Ledlum does some nice things but you see why he played in the Ivy. Jenkins is not a Big East starting PG. That being said Rick trusts DJ. Also, tells me he doesn’t trust Dingle who he said he wanted to make a pg in preseason. I want the game on Feb 3rd.

A win tonight would have increased it to an 81.1% chance. The loss drops it to 55.6%

Frankly, Jenkins and Ledlum are the only players on the team willing to “try” and make a play. And knocking Jenkins for taking the last 3 is silly, you get a decent look with 5 seconds left in a 3 point game, you let it fly……….

I'm proud of the team's effort tonight. Could have given up multiple times and didn't. Even with shots not falling. Ledlum taking heat but he plays hard, hits the floor constantly, and gets back up. Not a Jenkins fan but CRP knows he has no other options. This Wilcher fandom is insanity. Maybe he will pan out but nothing he has done tells me he could have contributed much in this game.

This loss really bothers me, we had this win, 2-0 and the next B.E. is Butler at Carnesecca, you'd feel real good that we'd be 3-0 after that one.
