Yep, he's an afterthought therethat would be a coup for the big east if Gtown got Shaka
Leaving big bad football Texas and the Big 12 for Georgetown and thebasketball only Big East would send a message loud and clear that we are a power conference.

Oklahoma State will elevate Mike Boynton, source told ESPN.
I know UCLA is UCLA but this guy was Mr. Indiana Basketball as a high schooler, a great player at Indiana and criticized by Knight when he took the in-conference job at Iowa. I wouldn't be shocked.http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaabk/doug-gottlieb-on-indiana-job-%E2%80%9Ci%E2%80%99ve-been-told-the-steve-alford-thing-is-done%E2%80%9D/ar-BByHCmg?li=BBnb7Kz
Sounds like a strange move regardless of the history but I could see it especially having to deal with: 1) UCLA dickhead fans 2) LaVar Ball

Mike was one of the best kids I've met in basketball. A hard worker and a leader even in his days at Loughlin. His first job is a tough one but if smarts and resolve mean anything he will make the most of this chance.
Official now. A10 is a mess.
Great choice for Indiana. Dayton to the Big East may fade into the background depending upon who they get there.
As Georgetown has their committee warming up... Indiana struck fast. Good fit for Miller there. I personally think Georgetown is set on hiring a black head coach anyway, so I think they'll zone in mainly on Shaka, Amaker.

Very glad that IU hired Miller rather than a Hoosier retread (ie: Woodson, Wittman, etc)
Excellent hire for them
