Coaching Carousel

UK fans may want to put Calipari on that carousel after tonight's performance.

From a UK forum: "He is a total joke. I thank God for Anthony Davis everyday, that's the only reason this clown stumbled ass-backwards into a title. Would love to see him go to the NBA and leave the program alone but they aren't crazy to take him, the whole world knows he can't coach worth a lick"

Matt A. is a natural for the transfer portal. Bring him back please.
I think a huge problem for him is that because of the portal, everyone can be a Matt A. He was way more useful before when his methods were more rare.

Now he's a guy who apparently doesn't do much actual coaching standing on the outside looking in.

I have nothing against him so hopefully he gets something soon, but that might mean jumping from mid-major to mid-major.

Anybody suggesting bringing back Matt exit stage left....
I mean, how quickly would the attempted undermining and tweaks at Macon start through his buddy in the press (or the other board).  Within 20 minutes?

Yep sounding more and more like Willard to Maryland is just a formality and can't imagine SHU would go with anybody other than Holloway.

Amazing how Kentucky fans want Calipari's scalp after the loss to St Peters. So much different than here at st johns where we only dream of having a coach who could get us to the NCAA or even NIT. Kentucky has a much higher bar

 With a better track record.

Given the current state of this program, you would be hard pressed to find a D1 Major with a lower bar then St. John’s. I’m just stunned that posters are happy about a coach returning who after high pre season expectations couldn’t even make the NIT? But I guess as long as Cragg and Anderson keep up the hype about wanting to win a National Championship some will fall for it.

You have a one team in a situation where they are a blueblood, normal top Ten Team with Top five recruiting classes and a history of SEC and NCAA (8) championships who have not won the SEC Tourny since 2017 and a National Championship since  2012 with a demanding fan base.  Kentucky fans are not just upset over last night but this has been brewing for quite some time.  Despite his flashy recruiting classes and NBA players, they feel he hasn't brought home the bacon, championships and they are restless.

Then you have us without any of the above cache who are fighting for relevance in this City, let alone the entire college landscape.   Big difference.

There is no need to repetitively post the same things over and over again.

Holloway might get better paying bigger opportunities now. Last weeks UMASS talk may become next weeks LSU job.
