In close games you can’t have him on the floor because makes Shaq look like Rick Barry from the line. Which is the point of the game when I posted that. Yes I am b
Actually no you are wrong because you are basing it solely on foul shooting. Kadary impacts the game in many different areas. Watch the game from about the 6 minute mark when Smith had to exit . Kadary took over the game

Wilcher looked like he was playing out the clock, but some fans on the near side of him, were screaming at him to go to the basket. That's why he did what he did.

BTW, we were up by 10, and the line was 11.5. That's probably why the fans were screaming at Wilcher to do that. I'll give Sim the benefit of the doubt, and say that he was not aware of those fans' motives.
Much ado about nothing imho

Agree Mike but it's also true we can't have him in at the end of close games where we are ahead because he is as bad as Shaq was right now.

Eventually teams are going to just foul him and he is a 43% foul shooter and one of our primary ball handlers. This is just common sense. In close games he can’t be out there at the end.

Understand your point but Kadary being a tall guard can pass over a trap just as important get a huge rebound. Him or Smith if you had a choice I'm not sure because it's not like smith is a 90% ft shooter. Personally I'm fine with Kadary at end of game. He's dropped off at the line no doubt from last year but what are our options ? No offense to Sim but I don't want the ball in his hands either but I'm fine with Kadary getting the ball to him

who exactly do you want with the ball ? Tell me Kadary didn't take over the last 6 or so minutes of the game. Stop thinking just ft's. He's not a center

"Obvious win", huh? As I said the other day, there is no such thing as an obvious win at St John's
It's about time that CRP accepts the fact that this team can't shoot from outside for __ __ it!!
IMO, nobody on this team should be allowed to shoot a 3 unless you are unguarded and have time to set your feet
If you violate and miss, you come out on the next dead ball
Kudos to Kadary for coming to life down the stretch but he looked totally disinterested for the first 35 minutes
Sim looks like he has lost confidence in himself. Enough said about his antics at the end. Total bush league move!!
This team needs to regroup and play to our strengths if we are going anywhere this season
This was a very poorly played game. Had we played a better opponent, the results would have surely been different
Kinda agree. Felt the same much of last year especially regarding Dingle. I think with the defense and a midrange game and Zuby down low we’d be much better.

After today's game Smith is 70%, Kadary 44%; that's a pretty big diff.

Yes it’s worse for a point guard.
In closing minutes he can’t be on floor. Not saying he can’t play at all, just not in close games the final couple minutes.

It's easier for the other team to foul a point guard than a center at the end of games when we're ahead. That's a bigger problem.

Agree. Kadary’s shot may be awful RIGHT NOW but I don’t believe he will stay awful. He has a couple months to sort it out.

Not gonna beat a dead horse, by now you all know what I think.

Coach is possibly not in the best position to relate to today's players and vice versa. Not a criticism of either, just observation.

Team has lots of pieces but question whether they fit together and it would take some very tough decisions to make that happen. Chemistry is almost entirely absent.

Kadary won the game today by being himself in crunch time when someone had to do it. But it's hard to have a PG out there or primary ball handler who can't shoot free throws.

Not sure, I guess my point is that if we have a single digit lead with less than 2 minutes left, we can't have Kadary on the court shooting that kind of percentage. Not only is he missing but most of his foul shots are bricks.
understand but we had single digit lead today. When someone puts up the entire game watch the last 6 minutes roughly from the point Smith exited. The only thing he did bad was miss 2 ft's in a row but he made absolutely huge plays
