I remember Ed calling me and with that laugh of his telling me he did itRemember the old pluses and minues. And SJUFan2 sat there for a whole day just giving me minus like 10,000 times. I think Lawman helped him a bit.

Did that poster graduate from Fordham between 95 and 97?I've only used the Ignore button for 1 poster. (Bet that poster feels honored).
But it still shows them posting just hides the content. Wish it just didn't show them at all but alas.
I think its always been a bit of a cesspool. But when we were bad there was a certain tone. Now that we arent bad its a much different vibe.
Why? Butler didn't run back on D because the Butler team and probably 99% of the fans in Carnesecca Arena assumed he was simply going to dribble out the clock which by the way is the good sportmanship thing to do. St. John's was ahead by 10 points when he pulled his stunt. Wilcher didn't need to rub the win into Butler's faces. It wasnāt the best move but Butler did not even try to run back on D for 9 seconds. He should have just dunked at the buzzer if they never came back on D.
Sim totally has lost his confidence regardless of the end I gotta give him credit heās always first off the bench cheering the guys on even when he is having a bad game."Obvious win", huh? As I said the other day, there is no such thing as an obvious win at St John's
It's about time that CRP accepts the fact that this team can't shoot from outside for __ __ it!!
IMO, nobody on this team should be allowed to shoot a 3 unless you are unguarded and have time to set your feet
If you violate and miss, you come out on the next dead ball
Kudos to Kadary for coming to life down the stretch but he looked totally disinterested for the first 35 minutes
Sim looks like he has lost confidence in himself. Enough said about his antics at the end. Total bush league move!!
This team needs to regroup and play to our strengths if we are going anywhere this season
This was a very poorly played game. Had we played a better opponent, the results would have surely been different
I agree RM86. I donāt think that weāre a fantastic shooting team by any stretch but I also donāt think that weāre 1-23 bad either. As I said previously, shooting is contagious when itās good and when itās bad. Our guys , after a couple of bad games are really lacking confidence now. They need to see a few drop and then I think theyāll be ok. Still not great but ok. They had five rim out today.Any of you guys that have Matt A's number, tell him to find some stand still shooters. I actually feel our guys are just lacking confidence at this point
āShortā ourselves out of it? I think you meant āshitā ourselves out of it.Sim totally has lost his confidence regardless of the end I gotta give him credit heās always first off the bench cheering the guys on even when he is having a bad game.
Personally while I understand the 3 angst we gotta short ourselves out of it IMO
If you read the posts just from this game alone youāll see them.Whoās part of this anti-Luis crowd you speak of?

He is sloppy with the ball, but that's the only issue I see. I will take five of himFor LMF and the rest of the anti Luis group. Hereās his stats todayā¦ā¦.20 points, on 9-19 (47%) shooting, 11 rebounds, 2 for 2 from the line and 4 steals.
If any other player had these stats you would be celebrating. Clearly, without RJ, this team wouldnāt have won half its games.
Does he make some mistakes sureā¦.. but numbers donāt lie!
I'm fully in the "do not show up your opponent" camp, but that said I did not have an issue with the Wilcher dunk attempt. To me it was an obvious attempt to hype up the crowd and put an exclamation point on a win on Carnesecca day. Not a jab at the opponent. And this is from someone who typically wants the players to just run the clock out. But that's just my view.
It's a classic cliche when you want to have an explanation for wild random swings. They happen, and much more so at lower percentages.People here keep hinting around this notion. Anyone care to expound on what that means?
Thatās not a good thing at all. He should be focused on the game , his coach and his team the whole time not communicating with anyone in the stands. If that was going on, and Pitino was aware of it, I think a one game suspension is in order. Also, he was pissed at Pitino in the second half. He was talking to his dad the whole game.
Two of the best college coaches quit this year for the reasons Pitino mentioned. Is that a shot at jay wright? Love it!!!
I donāt have a problem with critiquing him when he makes a mistake but there are some on this site that are relentless and have actually made such comments like āI wish he were elsewhereā or āPitino should burry him on the bench etc.ā.He is sloppy with the ball, but that's the only issue I see. I will take five of him
