CBS has the biggest love affair with the big ten, and that's why they consider Georgetown ahead of us on the bubble. It's just the way it is, and is why I don't listen to their opinions. Agreed. The problem lies with Xavier now. They can screw the pooch if they lose first game. Maybe SJU and Prov could both get in even if SJU wins. The bottom part of the bracket could complicate things with Gtown and Xavier.

Only one analyst I've seen or heard has G'town ahead of us, and that is Palm.

Lunardi has us ahead of them, and an article I read in USA Today, a couple days ago, also had us ahead of them.

There's no way Georgetown should be ahead of us. They are 17-13 with an 8-10 record in the Big East. They lost to Seton Hall twice and to Northeastern (which is 11-21). Those are three bad losses that should cancel out their good wins against Michigan State and/or Creighton.
