LAST 4 IN
• Ark
• Tenn
• Dayton
• Nebraska

FIRST 4 OUT
• California
• Providence
• Minnesota
• FSU

I know it wouldn't be a bad loss but I can't see how we don't pass Providence if they lose tonight. Identical records, we outplayed Providence in the 2 head to head, we have better SOS, we have finished stronger, neither team has any great out of conference wins but we have better out of conference losses. We are already ranked higher in Ken Pom and BPI which actually use statistical analysis. It's a joke that Cal, Minnesota and FSU are in ahead of us right now.

thats the same last 4 out as yesterday morning'.....we played the early game today, so just let those teams lose.

the committee doesnt use head to head record when selecting a team. in 2006 hofstra beat G. Mason head to head three times and GMason got the bid and then made the Final 4 run...

Lets have Providence lose today, then when we beat them we rid ourselves of an outside-looking-in team, one that we would be 2-1 against head to head.

I can't imagine they never look at it. George Mason was a special case, one that paid off handsomely for them.

Cal just beat Colorado in overtime at home. Good win for them, and will certainly keep them ahead of us unfortunately.

Belmont losing here might hurt us.

Doing a quick glance at their resume, they probably won't make it now. Currently at an RPI of 55 before losing, they have an SOS of 149, and really don't have any good wins except for North Carolina early in the season.

Only mid major losses that would hurt us are Gonzaga and Wichita State

Well, it's looking like BYU will also get in from the WCC. So if either Gonzaga or BYU doesn't win that tournament, they'll be taking a spot from someone on the bubble.

Tend to agree about Belmont, was just thinking committee might like to see some more mid majors get in. Still wouldn't shock me if SJU jumps Cal, our win on the road means more than their win at home.

Iowa just lost at home to Illinois. Bad loss for them. RPI of 44 and SOS of 50 before the game, they're only 4-6 in their last 10. Wonder if they could miss the NCAA's all together if they lose early in the Big 10 tourney.
