The bottom of the bracket churned as well. Minnesota fell off after a loss at Ohio State, but remains in the first four out. Tennessee fell even farther off than that after another especially gut-wrenching loss to Texas A&M.

They were replaced by Dayton and Georgetown, which pounded Xavier. The Musketeers are fortunate that the committee isn't given to overreaction to one game, because that was a pretty bad one.

As far as I can tell, we're still being projected in the field aren't we? According to the KenPom rankings, we actually moved up a couple of spots. The Xavier game is still a must win, but a lot of other bubble teams are losing.

Simple process, consider each remaining contest a Tourney game. Xavier first. Valvano's "Survive & Advance" mode. I appreciate we are still alive for NCAA T, regret we should have been in better position, but am thoroughly enjoying our late season run. Looking forward, not back! Beat Xavier!

If we beat Xavier and then win out, we will be the 3 seed in the big east tournament. I hope nova is a 2 seed, and the semifinal match is set.
I really want to play nova again at the garden, three times the charm, and don't see us beating Creighton again.

I don't care if we play Nova or not. Except that would mean we make the finals which is good. All I care about is us making the NCAA tourney and advancing.
