Bobby Hurley
Scheyer has been an assistant coach for 5 years. Mullin was a head coach for four. You don’t eat 4 million to make that move.
Great point, plus I'd have to believe Repole 'knew' who the target was and doubt doubt doubt he'd agree to the deal if the new HC were to be young Scheyer.
Nothing against Mr. Scheyer, but c'mon.
If Jon Scheyer is hired Cragg needs to tender his resignation.
I guess.cragg doesn't mean when he said he wants sju to be elite and win championships.
Talk is cheap.

Can we throw the top guys the f out of the office, and we as the fans will make the decision making.

I really wonder if they care if sju bball ever matters.

I gau-ran-damn-tee you that in a few years that pitino will have a state school in the f4, and we'll still be a nothing school if jon coming here is true.
We'll look at rick the same way as jay. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.
But I'll wait until it's official to have a total melt down.

Agree, oldschool. Some school will give Pitino another shot. That will happen. And when he does get that shot, he will make that school an elite team within three years. Unless it’s us, this will be so frustrating to watch.

Stop.

Scheyer is on a list and he is being looked at along with others. Always going to be on that list.

The top choice is still Bobby. It is not a foregone conclusion he comes though. Lots of factors in play. Should know soon.

What it comes down to in my opinion is whether Bobby aspires to win the coveted Duke job. Does he stand a better chance of that by staying in Arizona, or by potentially turning this ship around?

So far, it's still an open competition. If K died tomorrow, I'd actually bring Brey in as a bridge to a younger guy because I don't think any of the younger guys have done enough to take the throne. I think they'd all be crippled by the pressure.

The boosters at ASU really stepped up...
Damn! Well, thanks for the update anyways...

Let's get Rick Pitino and be relevant for a change.

Why would Brey want to leave ND to come here?

Honestly none of Ks guys should be wanting the job after him. You never want to replace the legend. You want to replace the guy who tried to replace the legend

I still hope they make a godfather offer to brad Stevens and think bigger than just K’s tree...but that won’t happen.

Referring to who would ultimately get the job at Duke when Coach K. leaves.

In my opinion that's 100 percent the direction it was going until Stevens left for the pros.

Until we know something definitive about Hurley being out of mix, I will leave him on my “draft board”
