I'm with MJ Dinkins. I don't want G'town to beat 'Nova either.

Supposedly, family and friends of players, coaches, and team managers can attend the games. Frankly, I would've allowed 20% attendance at MSG. That would've been a little of 4,000 fans in attendance. That's enough of a partisan to make lots of noise and get the juices flowing for the ball players.Room112" post=424711 said:Congrats to Ewing on getting his first Big East tournament win (0-3 prior to this). I personally still don't think he's as great a coach as many on this board feel he is, but he certainly appears to be way better than Mullin.
In four seasons, Ewing's record is 58-58, 26-44 in Big East games. No post season wins. If he was our coach he would have long ago been run out of town with those stats. Didn't people want to run CMA out of town THIS year?
Side note, are there actually "fans" at these games? The angles on TV don't show the areas where fans would be sitting.
Definitely not. Would be tough matchup with little gain. Would help us much more to play Nova win or lose. Lots to gain by winning though. Glad to see Butler win. Helps us too. Now hope Providence wins.GoldenLeaf" post=424718 said:I'm with MJ Dinkins. I don't want G'town to beat 'Nova either.
Only if we win tomorrow. We basically control our own destiny. Win tomorrow and Friday and all should be good regarding an NCAA tournament bid.Delaware" post=424727 said:This Xavier loss has to help us.
Yes, noticed that.Porgyman" post=424732 said:Down goes X!!!
Strange end to this game. It looked like X intentionally fouled Butler with 3 seconds remaining, up one and over the limit. Maybe someone else saw that differently?
