Hall down 40-25 at the half. Whitehead has 18 of their 25 points....

Villanova up 5 with 3 mins to go in the 1st half....

Nova will open that up and win by double-digits. They look much better than the Illini.

Watching the Seton Hall game. Whitehead is just scary good. But the rest of the team looks shellshocked. Jaren Sina in particular is a huge liability for them.

Sina is so slow footed, especially on D. You may see Carrington, Whitehead & Gibbs getting lion share of minutes to his detriment. Whitehead is so strong, has a nice stroke & plays smart. Love him!

@GoodmanESPN: @SethDavisHoops It's also the Big East starting to come back to Earth. Providence, now Seton Hall. But still built up lot of early equity.

Here they come. Goodman is such s tool.

Who expected the Hall to win at Witchita, Bilas not throwing us any bones over on ESPN either. Says whoever can get their tournament at the Garden should have the best tourney, with mentions of Big10 and ACC but not big east.

It was so obvious how pissed espn analysts were when the big east had the hot start. They didn't want any good press surrounding us. Now one bad loss to an ivy league team and #11 WSU we are falling off.

Annnddd Nova wins by double digits on ESPN over a Big 10 team which was ranked last week. Clearly looking like an elite team and better than last year.

Great playing conference, nobody expected SHU to win that game.

I don't know if they are better than last year, but I think they will use their personnel better. Bell was really, really good for them, but they are so much quicker with Ennis as the second guard than Hilliard last year. I thought that was their weakness last season. Hilliard is much better at the three for them. Ennis is the key...I thought he should have been last year, but he only got 16 mpg. Very smart team.

Indeed I took Hall plus 13 and Nova -6 . Go Be! Anyhow Whitehead is a talent but I watched huge chunks of the game and don't remember him passing the ball. Looking forward to Jordan checking him NYE.

Jay Wright to @SNYtv on Big Ten to MSG in 2018: "I would rather they not. I like when the Big East owns New York."

As hot as he was, there was no reason for him to pass it.

Never saw it that way. As a matter of fact I thought the ESPN announcers have been extremely complimentary to the Big East. I certainly did not feel their was an edict or anything coming from ESPN in their dialogue. They even did some promotion for upcoming games surprisingly.
