@brianneubert: North Florida, Incarnate Word, Eastern Michigan, NJIT, Eastern Washington and St. Peter's have now won games in #B1G venues this season.

"Incarnate Word" ? Ouch for B1G

Creighton thought they were gonna be able to hang their hat on that win. Now it is not as good. Nebraska has lost to Incarnate Word and URI

They still have the win over Oklahoma, even though that one was at home.

@NicoleAuerbach: To understand Butler's 8-1 start & tough/abrupt transition from Brandon Miller, get to know Chris Holtmann:http://t.co/q5FSU9pUM2

If he does this well all season it puts Butler in a huge bind. They can't fire Miller, but they really need the stability there that Holtmann is giving.

DePaul down 20 at half to GW on neutral court. Dreadful!

Seton Hall beat GW this year and people say "who did they beat"?

Agreed. Need to wait til Feb when GW's RPI is 150 to ask that question.

While it's true the A-10 is down this year, GW is a solid club and a likely NCAA team. Notwithstanding the weak conference, they'll have some opportunities to raise their RPI at penn st. and in Hawaii this month.

A win against gw does not have the same cachet as if it were against a big name school -- likely the reason why gtown won't play them -- but at the end of the year, I think it will prove to be a solid win for the Hall.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think that after a certain period of time on medical leave, he can be fired. If they don't want to fire him, I doubt they're under any obligation to keep him in the head coach position.

Just making a joke. Understand G Town's position, it's the same as STJ position with IONA, Manhattan, Hofstra and Stony Brook. Nothing to win by winning. We'll know all we need to know about Seton Hall on NYE and probably not before.

i know it's early in the season but espn's joe lunardi has come out with his first bracketology....he has 7 of the 10 big east teams making it into the field of 68 (providence, depaul and marquette left out)....he has sju as the 27th ranked team so that would put us at a 7 seed.....nice to see the league getting some respect, especially from someone working for the evil empire....

I'd be very happy just to get 5 in. 7 is possible but I'm predicting 6 because the next few weeks will have a lot of road and tough games..

I would be happy to get 1 in, SJU :).

Haha, well if that were to happen and we made the Final Four I'd be good with it. But I wouldn't look forward to ESPN proclaiming the death of our league even though their AAC is looking like a 1 bid league this year.
