Georgetown with an unimpressive win over now 1-9 Howard. Govan with 24 points & 16 rebounds.

If you go on the Casual Hoya twitter page (the Georgetown equivalent to Rumble in the Garden), they troll anyone who dare questions Georgetown's non-conference schedule. Maybe they are being sarcastic, but it's still annoying. They're SOS to this point is 351st in Division 1 (out of 351).

One of their tougher games was supposed to be Richmond on the road, but the Spiders are only 1-8. Georgetown went in there, and only won by 6. OTOH, Jackson State played at Richmond, and won by 33. I normally don't like playing that game when comparing teams, but that has to tell you something about Georgetown's start.

That being said, I won't kill them for scheduling Howard. At least, they are a local DC-area team.

Two interesting games today - Marquette at Wisconsin & Nebraska at Creighton. Not one of Wisconsin's better teams, but they did play Xavier tough earlier in the year.

It's going to be a big game, even in the short term. If we lose that when, it's very possible that we can start 0-3 in the Big East, and then it's an uphill battle the rest of the season.

There are only about 10 tickets left for this game and they are all single tickets. This will be a sellout.

It's the Red White T shirt giveaway night. Last year vs. Butler had a packed house for same giveaway.

It was really loud and we ended up coming back by 13 or so for the win.
