Creighton up 7 one minute left.

Yes, another strong road win for the BE. On a side note, Arkansas went down today and for a second time this week, which should drop them from the polls.

What a weekend for In-State Rivalries in the Big East. St. John's beat Syracuse, Seton Hall beats Rutgers, Villanova beats LaSalle, Creighton beats Nebraska. Damn if Marquette had won we'd have a sweep.

The announcers on the Creighton/Nebraska game mentioned our win against Cuse yesterday. They also mentioned that the Big East has won 81% of there games so far out of conference. Creighton wins 65 - 55.

@SOrangeJuice: Seton Hall opens as 12.5 point underdogs on the road at Wichita St Tuesday, evening. First time as dogs this season. #shbb

Tough test, but I like this team, especially Delgado, Gibbs & Whitehead.. This is their first tough game, but they should be a factor in the BE as they mature.

I know it would be good for the confernece if they win, but I hope Wichita St stomps repulsive Willard's crew.

Willard is like old school big east scum. But I think they will win convincingly. They look really tough and balanced and will only get better and better. I think SHU will end up ahead of G'town in the league and never would have thought that a few weeks ago.

Contrarian call to beat Wichita State on the road. Do you think they beat us?

well, I did call the Syracuse win...http://redmen.com/forum/4-redmentalk/43095-syracuse?start=20#132947

I'll say this. If the young guys continue to play like seasoned college players, I think SHU is one of only 2 or 3 teams in the BE that have a shot to beat Nova in conf play.

Yeah, the season opener at the Prudential Center should be a great game.

Well they were blowing them out in the Big East tourney, if you remember, but blew it down the stretch.
Gary Cohen thinks they are tough this year and going to get better. Johnnie's swept them last year but it was tough and the first win in Jersey in years.

I think Nova will sweep SH and it's not even close.

SH has a good, young core. But they haven't beaten anyone.

It's great to win early and on neutral courts with such a young roster. But blowing out Rutgers doesn't move the needle in the grand scheme of things besides being a confidence builder.

We need SH to win as many OOC games that they can in the big picture.

But some of this is fool's gold because of their level of opponents.

Nova is the safe bet of course. I was impressed with SHU before they blew out Rut. Not because of their wins but because of how mature their young guys are playing and Delgado is better than expected. Gibbs is always a gamer and the right temper for the young guys.

Butler looking very strong tonight in a blowout win, even if it's only Kennesaw State.

I am only looking at St. John's at this point. If they play there best, they will be in every game this year including Duke. The question still is how many will they win.

What's with the "they"?

I think its just my Queens accent. No harm intended.

What's up with PC? They need to pull this game out against Brown. This would be an awful loss for the conference and for them. I was surprised they lost to BC, but they're hitting new depths tonight.

They lose by 10. Awful loss for them ... and the BE.
