Marillac fwiw, I think ennis is a very good athlete, probably their best, right now.

You may be right. I don't think this is a very athletic team relative to former Nova teams under Jay Wright. I would say this is one of--if not the--most skilled teams I've seen Nova have. It is also one of the biggest and strongest.

Mase, be reasonable here and let Otis know that this team is not Villanova's most athletic. That four-guard set with Foye et al. was one of the most athletic lineups college basketball has ever seen!

I dont think it is Nova's most athletic team by any means, having Arch, Hillard, and Pinkston, who are three very good players but not tremendous athletes, limits that. However, Ennis and Ochefu are as athletic as any nova players I can remember under Wright. I think you are overrating Ray, and Lowry a little bit as stud athletes. And dont forget that Mike Nardi was not a tremendous athlete himself.
 
Minnesota playing wake forest right now. Would like to see them win. Will he rooting for them all year so win gets better. Up 24-16 right now

Syracuse plays Michigan at 7:30. Didn't realize there is a good chance we will be playing cuse coming off a loss.
 
Sorry, not the Big East, but Iowa downs North Carolina. Love to see those ACC giants go down. Next up: Duke vs. Wisconsin.
 
Also not BE but was watching Wichita St-Utah and both coaches in an OT game basically let the players play out the game without calling TOs to orchestrate every possession. Refreshing.
 
I just realized this St Mary's plays @ Creighton before they play @ us. So we should get a better feel for how good they are.

I also realized they have a 6'9 senior forward who is averaging 21 points and 9 boards a game. Yikes. Gonna be a tough one. And if we lose to Syracuse, which is very possible, SMU and LBSU are absolutely pivotal on our post season hopes.
 
While Texas is losing their sh*t here at UK, there are a few other good games on. PC needs to get it going against BC and pull this one out (on ESPN3). UConn is trailing vs, Yale late 2nd half (on SNY) and Wyoming/SMU is a good one.

Disappointed to hear about PC loss to BC. Bad for the conference.

Very bad loss for Providence on the road at Boston College. UConn looks like they just lost at the buzzer at home vs Yale, that's a tough one too
 
Well, PC is heading towards 2-1 vs. the ACC, but UConn is upset at the end. Yale with a 3 from the corner with 1.7 seconds to go for a 1 point win. Awesome.
 
So, not the Big East, but Texas represented themselves well tonight vs. UK. I'll say that Felix was not a good pg, made some terrible decisions tonight, and the outcome may have been very different if Taylor were healthy. I hope these teams match up again down the road. Texas will be fun to watch as they grow together this year.

Seton Hall is going to be a problem for us this year and next year (for sure).

Their freshmen are looking pretty good but Rutgers is a really crappy team. Hard to draw any conclusions from this game.
