How he consistently can get top recruits to visit Rhode Island of all places amazes me.

From the Providence camps, to the US select team, Cooley knows how to use what he has to get recruits interested in his program.

Sure, we don't have as many ships to give out, but with all of our available "resources" at our disposal, you'd think we'd see much, much more action.

Regardless, he's always involved with northeast kids. Always on a Brewster kid. And always getting mentions.

Providence doesn't have the lure, history, new arena, recent championships and countless a Final Fours like UConn so yeah, I'm amazed Cooley has constant involvement.

Jakarr spoke highly of him.

My issue is we, in NY, have way more to show a recruit besides the campus and college atmosphere. But we sure don't get the visits.

Didn't we have 3 cancellations the past few years between Jarell Martin, Kentan Facey and the kid who went to Baylor this year.

The day of our first argument my Karma went down three. It gets reduced three every time he responds to a thread I lost in. It's not a tough mystery to solve. I never even noticed karma until I saw yours because it is such a staggering #. When I looked at mine I was shocked it was positive (barely). I expects it to be like -1000. Nobody else would care enough to knock karma but that loser.

Creighton up 22-15 home against DePaul. Cleveland Melvin is suspended indefinitely for DePaul. I'd be shocked if Creighton doesn't pull away and cover the ridiculous 20 point spread. I just hope DePaul can make them work a little bit first. McDermott already with nine points on 4-6 from the field. I honestly can't see how this kid won't be at least a decent scorer at the next level against single coverage. I've never seen a player more important to his team's success than McDermott.

DePaul did us a huge favor tonight making Creighton play a full 40 minutes.

Hopefully Creighton flies out tomorrow so they'll lose practice time and maybe suffer a little jet lag :)

I'd feel even better about it if we got them at noon instead of 7pm to help with the short turnaround, lack of practice time and jet lag.
